Sunni D is a passionate digger and DJ dedicated to unearthing euphoric sonic delights from across the globe.
His contagious excitement for music and digging for the likes of Soca, Brazilian, obscure disco and house, has taken him all over the world, touring Germany, France and the Netherlands, as well as making his Latin-American debut in Brazil this month.
Alongside musical partners JOSH FB, Sultani and Matty S, Sunni co-founded Discothèque Tropicale, an exciting collective dedicated to celebrating borderless dance music and creative cultures from all over the world.
“This mix is a celebration of Soca music spanning the mid 80s to the late 90, and the artists and producers who created this beautiful music. All of these tracks bring me such joy and happiness, and I hope they can put a smile on people’s faces and get them up and dancing.”
