Amanda, I sincerely appreciate you for stepping out of your comfort zone. As a stutterer myself, I struggle with blocks and it’s like I know what to say but it just doesn’t come out. I’ve come to find out God has given us this thorn in our flesh to keep us close to him. Moses had a stutter and parted the sea. You my love have parted the fear ❤️ I cry because I know how you feel. I can’t imagine everything you went through all your life and how hard it must have been, we all have things growing up which cause us to hold back from chasing our dreams, but you completely kicked that in the *** and pursued your dreams. I just saw you on AGT. As a fellow dysfluent person, I'm so proud and happy that you had the courage to go perform. You sang beautifully. I'm also a speech pathologist, where dysfluency therapy is my jam. Just a little info - fluency often begins to get milder as you get into your mid to late 20's, probably due to the fact that a person is more comfortable, as they settle into their life. It doesn't go away but a person realizes that they aren't a big neon sign flashing, "stutterer", but it's just something that you do. Keep on being fearless!

It’s easy to say; “ that was “pretty” good” and you stutter? Not bad. But that’s NOT just happened. I just listened to a young woman with a beautiful voice that sent me into the clouds. Great job. You did good!!!
