- SUP Y'ALL?! Welcome to the first video of my SKZ journey! As some of y'all know, I've become an instant hardcore STAY since the moment when I first checked them out with God's Menu. I will be reacting to all of their music videos from pre-debut to now (with the exception of the videos that I've already seen). Today's video starts out with their pre-debut work, which includes Hellevator, Grrr, and Young Wings. They REALLY came with THIS much fire power BEFORE debut?! GOODNESS. I am in for a riiiiiide!

Fun fact: JYP once told Chan the note is too high for them but Chan did not follow what JYP said and made their debut song District 9 even higher. That's Stray Kids rebellion for you.
Lol oh yeah, he said they made the arrangement in a female key and needed to be changed. I love how they prove everyone wrong and swerve all the haters and do what makes them happy. They’re absolute universal role models and it makes me even prouder to be a Stay.
MAAAAN I can't wait to get to District 9! I almost wanna just do nothing but SKZ reactions back to back but my other peeps might feel sad hahah- slowly but surely, I'll get there. Thanks for this fun fact! Chan ain't the leader for no reason :p

Some of those MVs in the comment are slightly out of order. The title tracks/storyline is definitely in order, but some b-side tracks had video releases before the title tracks. There are 2 recommendations I would make:
1. I would probably watch Double Knot before Levanter. Based on a video they released prior to the release of God's Menu and Go Live, Double Knot is in the storyline. The video was a Prequel Highlight Reel of all their MVs in the storyline.
2. Gone Days, Mixtape: On Track, Top, and Slump were all released prior to the Go Live album release. The order for them in terms of MV doesn't matter at all, but if you want to listen to the progression of their music I would probably listen to them before Blueprint (order I listed is order of release).
Other note: Mixtape 2 was originally released as a CD only track with the I Am Who mini album. Mixtape 3 was originally released as a CD only track with the I Am You mini album. Mixtape 4 was originally released as a CD only track with the Cle 1: Miroh mini album. All of tracks Mixtapes #1-#5 are full group versions of 3RACHA tracks. For the MVs it doesn't matter.

I listened to their music the same way and found it really interesting how they grew and changed in just these two years, so I'm excited to go on this journey again with you. They said they liked having their albums in series because that way their music is like their own timeline. Since they create all of it you can tell each album represents a stage in their life and it's all very honest and meaningful to them :)

Loved your reaction ! As a new Stay myself I’ve been super impressed with how unique they are from other kpop groups and they definitely have set themselves apart as being their own genre. So happy for Gods Menu...I never would have learned about them otherwise.

If you ever react to Blueprint in the future, you’ll notice the correlations between Young Wings and Blueprint. I feel like Blueprint is like an older brother song to Young Wings

I do lots of album & photo card giveaways on Twitter for STAY’s & ONCE, to try to encourage the younger generation ❤️
One thing that ALWAYS amazes me is how many mv’s SKZ put out compared w/other groups. It’s crazy! They’ve got something like 50 mv’s if you include all the b-sides, performance versions, etc. In less than 3 years including Pre-debut. They keep us STAY so well fed! ❤️
stray kids like most kpop groups have a hitory line and hellevetor and the city that appears at the end of the mv from the starting point of this history line

Hellevator sticks to me from the first time I heard it until now. Maybe because their predebut songs just match my age/"young" stage.

thinacious here’s the link to episode 1; watched part of it A week or so ago, just to confirm the quality. It is light years ahead of the other versions I saw, which were both hard to find, and where the audio and English subtitles would sometimes disappear. This is great work from a volunteer group. That’s one of the things I love about fellow K-pop stans! (Yes, there are things I don’t like so much as well)😂

8.[Stray Kids : SKZ-PLAYER] Changbin ”Streetlight" - Changbin Vocal Solo, lyrics/composed by Changbin, Produced and Arranged by Bang Chan, He uses the streetlight as a metaphor for how someone may look bright in the darkness but are actually sad and alone. The blue plant is supposed to represent the Blue Tree Project aimed at encouraging individuals to speak about their mental health with a message of “it’s OK to not be OK”. The blue paint was inspired by Jayden Whyte who painted a tree blue on his parents’ farm as a joke however later he committed suicide late 2018. Changbin and Stray Kids would want to encourage people to speak out either if you are feeling sad or to check on someone.
