Hey Ian,Some airlines don't allow any tattoos but for Emirates as long as they are not visible while you are in your cabin crew uniform that's fine

How did you become a cabin crew of Emirates? I mean you are having a big tattoo. Are tattoos allowed in Emirates? I think this is the only airline allowed to have tattoos on skin.
I had all my tattoos done after joining Emirates. As long as it is not visible whilst in uniform, it is acceptable
KYLE: Why do so many flight attendants quit after a short period of time with Emirates? It is one of the best airlines and very hard to join so WHY the high turn over? There are many ex Emirates flight attendants that have vlogs on you tube that have NOT talked favorably of Emirates. Kindly educate us on why there seems to be wide spread employee angst in Emirates??
genten777 Its hard to answer that question. Every company has pros and cons. Every city has pros and cons. Its just about you finding your comfort level. A few ex crew on CZcams with negative comments, what about the 18 odd thousand still in Emirates? Can't be that bad, can it?

I justsumbitted my CV , photos and , and filled in the presonal - work education information/history.. do you know when do they answer back ? and how is the process ? inteview/training ? etc..
Marios Demetriou The process is tough. Be natural, dont act too much. I can't tell you how long it will take. I remember it took them about 3 months to get me from the funal interview till the acceptance email

Tauseef Ahmad Khan Hi Tauseef. Thanks for the question. From what I remember, swimming is not compulsory. I believe you should at least know how to tread water. I cant find any clear indication of what the maximum age is. I do recommend that you just please apply and hopefully your personality will get you across the line

Loved your work. Had a question. I am fair in complexion and I have piercings in both the ears(got them when I was a small kid), which is healed now. And also I have a huge birth mark on my right thigh till my knee (which made my thigh look black). So my question is that can I apply/eligible for the job? Or will it be an issue? What is the person particularly Man has a tatto on his arm not big. Is that okay or is not allowed in orders to become a cabin crew member. Because in many platforms on the internet it states that it should not be visible. And since the male cabin crew uniform consists of shirt and jacket above it, will it be still unacceptable?

Yash Shivankar To study emirates academy as a pilot very expensive 560,000 dirhams. But there is different courses.
Do you get checked before every flight? Is your appearance checked? Like an inspection parade?
It's not a strict check. We have someone walking around and if they notice something, they help us rectify it but that's about it

Hi Tushar. I am not Muslim and there are plenty of non-Muslims here.
A lot of crew make it a career. It totally depends on how much you enjoy it. It's like any other profession. I've been here 11 years now and will still keep going.

So, I am applying now for Emirates Cabin Crew position and I would like to ask if I get shortlisted and invited for AD, should I say i have a tattoo in my arms same as you? Should I say the truth? It's not visible using the uniform, of course. Plus, in the training college you guys wear a red polo t-shirt. How did you do about your tattoo? Did you have to hide it? Thank you in advance!
Guilherme Araújo Hey Guilherme. Actually, when I did my interview, we didn't wear those red polo's. My suggestion to you is, do not lie about the tattoos. Make sure you declare them. I've seen new joiners wearing the red polo over a long sleeve, black shirt. I'm assumimg, that's how they rectify the situation.

Thanks for the question. We have more pilots from the US here but definitely a few hundred cabin crew or so too. I think the hardest part for them is the distance but a few still make it out.

makaronassss Hey buddy. I got all my work done after joining Emirates. I do remember them asking if I had any. My advice to you....just be honest. As you can see by the video, my work shirt is long enough to cover any of my tattoos. Hope this helps
