Race Racer - New Game Any% ~ 1:29:00 (PAL Emulated)
Played on RetroArch - PSX Beetle HW (1.9.10)

Finally sat down and got a proper run on tape. I routed a new way through the game with easier "backup strats" and focusing mainly on running Gnade and Lizard through the game. From Class 1 to first race in Class 3, I use the Gnade upgraded to the current class, before switching to Lizard for the reminder of the run + Assoluto for Ovals. Although since I finished 1st on all races in this run, the backup strats from Class 5 wasn't present and I got to buy Ghepardo instead of upgrading Fatalita to Class 5.
I'm going to look into how bad the EU version squares up against the other versions, as even though the Gnade 1st class has a higher top speed through out the game, it seems that the 50 FPS might be slowing the timer down significantly. Maybe I have to check out NTSC-J or NTSC-U.

Loved this game, but car handling was abhorrent. Cool to see someone who handles it very well - although even here the game's strange physics seems to get in the way at times. Anyway, enjoyed this a lot

As it's any%, extra GP is not required, thus no Class 6

I'm Italian and growing up and studying English I learned to understand what the "narrator" says at each race (starts, each lap, etc.) but I still can't understand what she says at each lap before saying, for example, "two laps to go "... could someone native speaker clear my doubt? haha
