- Tonight in this video I was feeling the rect 2 position which is the down click on the standby switch and provides a bit of sag and sweetness.
Gain staging notes. Either the Jose without the Archer (Rockaway) or the Archer without out the more subtle gain boost of the Jose works well to kick a tone over the top.
No gate on clean as the HX gate there kills the bloom of the notes. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
Reminds me of a Marshall voiced Trainwreck. Has that highly focused mids growl.
Wow kitchen sink rules I think so far is my favorite. I like it even more than your wizard I hope I don’t get in trouble for saying that 😂. So tight and punchy
The Wizard was cool, but ch 1 was very tough to dial in, although the live clips I have of it sound really good.
@@cragginshred I can not believe how good the kitchen sink sounds, I’m sure is even better in person. Specially because I never Hurd of 3rd power amps. They can definitely hang with all of the big high end amps of the world. Of course your playing is always Gold . Thanks again

My new favorite amp, hands down. Every note coming out of that thing is sublime. Although, I'm a bit confused, Don. Your voice is fading in and out, so it's a bit tough to hear what you're saying. When you say "Jose Mod", does the amp have a setting on it that represents that mod, or maybe a pedal? Or, are you saying that in reference to the tone you've got dialed up? Also, when did you get the Archer? That's relatively new to your setup isn't it? Absolutely killer. I made my financial advisor (commonly known as my wife) watch these two videos 20x's. She mentioned something about your "sexy biceps", and your apparent wealth, and walked away.... 😂
Oh my 🤣 Um er, ok the amp has what they call a 'Jose mod' or 80's mode or on the chanel switcher it just says Gain boost. Referring to the mods done in the 80's by Jose Ariande Sp? So it's not modded just seeking to re create a goosed or modded Marshall is my understanding. So many tones in here and yes the Rockaway Archer is new. I did not like it at 1st but that was user error. I dropped the bass slider and bumped mids and bam. The amp is so loud in the room and I have fans and an AC unit going in my studio so that's why you can't hear my voice. I really need to make better videos but 99% of my limited time goes toward sculpting tone. In any case thanks again my friend for the affirmation of what I am hearing too, Rock on!!

3rd Power vs Modern Classic?. From your videos alone, I prefer the Kitchen Sink. Less gain, less saturated. Less sizzle.
I gave up trying to capture the think clarity and power the Wiz has,..bang on!
