Braking tip: Right before you hit the Runway, press R to engage spoilers at 45. Then press it again during all gear is on touchdown to engage full spoilers

tip: land with the flaps and the spoilers down to slow down more and reduce stall speed

yes I wanted some variety in views
For buttering, you first have to do a good approach, this includes having a flightplan and when on short final dont be at full PAPA lights, 2 red and 2 white. Then when about to land, pull a flare, this means pulling up when the gear of the middle is touchingdown, then followed gently (a bit slow) by the nose gear.
Then put your flaps and spoilers at full, throttle to idle (0%) and use the speedbrakes

For butter, you need to hit the touchdown zone very smoothly while coming in not too fast not too slow and performing the procedure

I highly recommend using Cam 7 to get a camera view just like I think almost everyone did at PTFS

tip: the big markers on the runway is the touchdown zone, you missed half of the runway in every landing

One time I was super shocked because I was flying in an Airbus A220 and tried to butter, but it turns out I am a god gamer and legit got -1fpm!
Big tip stabalize the plane before landing so both landing gear touch the runway at the same time so no bounchcreated😮
I was literally at a spirit airliner Airbus A220 or A320 (dont remember) and was trying to land at EGKK. (at 200 -250 kts)
then you ask, why was i at that speed? simple, I was approaching at more than 3000 ft.. THEN I NEEDED TO NOSE DIVE TO LOSE HEIGHT, BUT THEN I WAS GAINING SPEED WITHOUT EVEN NOTICING IT (OBS: I had auto pilot on, so I wasn't paying much attention.)
I LITERALLY DID 2 GO AROUNDS, TRIED TO LAND 3 TIMES, BOUNCED OFF AND AT THE LAST ONE I THREW MY PLANE INTO THE WATER

tip: I saw that you were floating for some times on some of the planes, you might need to flare a little bit later.
yep you need to get close to the landing zone and perform the flare which will help you butterrerererre

My lowest on a 737 is -1 fpm, and fun fact I saved it at last moment and it was my first ever successful no crash landing
My lowest fpm was today when I landed the 777 at Gatwick and got a -11fpm
The best labding i ever had was yesterday -1fpm with the a220

-4 fpm in the A330 it was such a butter I think I should get hired from Us Airways and I only did that from playing for a week!
Pretty surprised that you got 57 fpm on a dash 8, as that is pretty difficult. The reason to that is that the nose is the heaviest on the aircraft. Although project flight doesnt have that yet, or i think they dont have that, but still impresses me.

tip:there are 1-9 different camera angles and the 7th camera angle is the best for landing trust me,i use it all the time
best one was 787 because it’s the only one in the touchdown zone whilst having a good butter

Buttery? Yes, Good landing? not really. But i mean at least your having fun and thats all that matters. If your ever going on to fly aircraft in real life (or already do) never forget a good landing is a mix of landing on the centreline, within the touchdown zone, and not hammering the ground

The lowest fpm I’ve ever gotten was like 7 fpm cuz I’m still used to using inverted on PTFS

just a tip try not to float as much you want to get a smooth landing at the touch down zone

3:37 my lowest fpm was -6 with a 777
3:57 -3 FPM on the A330 for me.
Tip: use autopilot to maintain a good landing speed
My low est fpm was-1 with à 777-300ER
sadly after these physics uptades my landnings went from butter to smooth but I'm still trying (after like not much time passed after the physics uptade, I couldn't butter an a330, it was like -120 fpm :\
Do this again when the next update comes probably update 7 when you make this again

Just saying, -100 fpm is good. The average landing fpm is around -200
I suggest you land at around 140KTS with Flaps set to land and Spoilers FLT
FLT spoilers I would use in flight to slow down.
@@Kipetio That's they're entire purpose, to slow down if you're going to fast. Also when landing, setting flaps to *FLT* slows the plane at a high speed, so then you have to land faster or set a higher thrust.
