- Today I had fish tacos on my mind! I really wanted to head down to the jetty for some fishing. The plan is to catch, cook, and eat some fish tacos! It was an awesome day with lots of multi species catching, some tasty fish tacos and dungeness crab, and I'm excited to bring you guys/gals along for the day! I laughed so hard. You finally did some fishing that I was familiar. Ocean fishing off a jetty. Getting your line caught in the rocks. Dropping a fishing in between the rocks. All those things I have done. I really enjoy watching your videos. Keep up the good work.

Oh man...I literally jumped out of my seat Weyerhaeuser you slipped, chills down my spine, hairs on the back of my neck stood up, and goosebumps all over. It reminded me of how my buddy hyper extended his knee out there on that jetty. It's been years since I've been out that far about 15yrs. Glad you didn't get hurt.
I caught one of my biggest red tail perch out there, it's tail was hanging about 3 to 4inches out the 5 gallon bucket .
Next level fish tacos. I mean a whole..... nother...... level. It's all about the Texas rig on the jetty

Some Columbia river basalt has a high copper content and looks green like that, there’s also some purple and yellow. There’s a wide variety of color in our local rocks it’s pretty cool

Love all the videos. I watch them every time I work, makes the work day go faster. But this video is like the 3rd or 4th in a row that I watched where you dropped a fish and lost it lol. Start boinking them on the head before you unhook them hahaha.

I tried surf fishing for my first time the other day for my birthday up by Westport. I ended up digging a guys truck out before high tide took it . Saved the truck but I was too tired to fish after that. I’m guna slay em next time. I enjoy your videos keep em coming.

More Jetty fishing and surf fishing videos please. I too have lost tons of gear jetty fishing. Rough out there on them slippery rocks, got shin scars from slips too. I wear a PFD with a handheld VHF Marine Band radio strapped to it when I’m out there on the Jetty. Never know when you might break a leg or be unable walk back off the jetty or a sneaker wave drag you in while by yourself.
I fished that end of the jetty in 1988. Caught some nice fish and a limit of keeper crabs. It was awesome!

At rocky bottom i avoid treble hooks, double assists on the head side and maybe, maybe a single strait to the tail to avoid snugs!!!
Jordan, Bet you could have used a bobber 8-10ft up above your jig and caught without snagging up. I used to do that on top of cliffs near Moses Lake fishing for crappie. Short jerks on bobber, let rest, and again. Good vid!

I’d like to see a How To for Lingcod off the rocks or jetties. Different techniques and where to find them, what time of year and what not.
Love the jetty fishing. Reminds me of my striped bass and false albacore fishing days on the jetty’s in Rhode Island. I can’t count the number of times I slipped on the rocks. I had one saltwater fly reel where the anodizing had been chipped off in numerous spots from the falls.

Heaven in a shell right there Jordan!!! It is absolutely mind blowing how such amazing food is right there off the jetty’s I fish the Newport jetty a bit as I work at the fish market here in south beach and absolutely incredible to be able to catch fresh fish in no time and have a healthy sustainable meal!!! 🙏🏻

Great video of a fun filled adventure, you guys. Besides making my mouth water, I really enjoyed seeing you navigating over those jetty rocks, Jordan. Damn hazardous they can be. Not for me anymore now that I’m a paralyzed disabled veteran in a wheelchair, but I used to fish a jetty at Atlantic Beach, North Carolina in my younger years when I was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point. Caught a variety of fish, best being a big Sheep Head and lots of hard fighting Blue Fish. Also hooked into a big Cobia late one afternoon but lost it after a 10 minute fight which resulted in me yelling string of profanity few people have ever heard of, lol. Love Addicted Fishing, have learned so much from you guys. Hope to get a line wet for some steelhead and salmon this Fall, now that I live in Clark County, WA. Keep these videos coming, lads. Very entertaining, educational, and inspirational for this old war horse.

This might actually get me to buy White Claws. Really enjoying the catch and cook addtions to the channel. Most of us who fish and hunt also love to cook what we catch so it is a perfect fit.
Going to have to try that white claw recipe with some fat ling cod chunks. For extra crispy on the pride of the west batter, give it a dip in panko after the batter dunk

Man some times at the jetty be like that . But i suggest a backpack and a poke pole. Keep getting hung up and shit just start poking the rocks and youll catch fish with the poke pole .

Jetty fishing is the hardest type of fishing to get used to but it’s worth it if your strong enough I’ve watched my close friend lose a pb mackerel about ft and a half and it fall into the rock with out picture video or anything
