@@hayden829 That's not why in most cases. Everybody thinks it is ever since the start glitch became known. They actually do it to reset or reduce the heavy aim of their reticle. Pros have been doing it since the game came out basically.
The way he spring jumped is fairly easy to learn at any skill level. I recommend a different button layout like bumper jumper though, as it's hard to do w default L/O. Watch some tutorials on it and you'll get it down in no time!! Good luck yo.

It will basically make you lag on your opponents’ screen. And from what I understand, the faster you’re moving, the more pronounced it is.
