When I follow yours I’m able to gain an understanding of the program functions and still make a really cool looking piece of work. Recently I read in your website bio that you used to draw a lot of horses - that was me too! They’re my favorite thing on the planet. Have you ever done a tutorial for them?? Or a brush?! I just discovered this tutorial today, & the timing's odd, because I've also recently discovered a hand-drawn mandala I'd made on paper a few yrs ago. I scanned it & now in the process of trying to clean it up in Procreate. Of course, & again another tutorial that will be a big help! & your humor was killing me: "a pea cocktail...that sounded bad". 😆 Thanks for the big smile!

I did it! And somehow, it’s beautiful. I struggled to get smooth lines, and for me, it helps to have a glove and I also adjusted the smoothness on the technical pen.

Just a tip here as I'm a mandala artist and have created a lot of them ...that by clicking on to the ROTATIONAL SYMMETRY while choosing the radial option ...mandalas can be drawn better and we don't need to draw them again where the space is left ....and again it totally depends upon the design whether we like it that way or not 😊

Is there a way to cut the mandala in half to make a necklace? I design and make jewelry as a hobby and thought of purchasing Procreate to do this.

Hi, I'm feeling a little bit frustrated with my mandala. At first, my pen created a strange shape when I drew the last circle before the petals. I had no idea why it was creating a pattern with the circle. After my many efforts to get one finished which I have accomplished, now when I do the black fill, it all fills in. Usually, that means there are gaps in the lines but I zoomed it up and couldn't see the gaps. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I love your tutorials, they're nice, simple, and easy to understand. Thank you.

Hi Flo! This a wonderful tutorial, thank you! The only thing I'm having trouble with is using "continue with recolour" - I get the crosshair, but when I select an area, it's not filling completely (it has the white spots/lines. How can I adjust/correct this? Thanks so much!
This is amazing and very relaxing to watch. I follow your tutorials and try to replicate what you do on my own iPad. I have a question. I'm watching this video on a big screen right now and the lines look very jagged and pixelated. What brush would you recommend to use if I wanted very smooth lines in order to print it out so that I can color it in with markers?.
You’d have to make your canvas bigger, 4000+ pixels for instance

I’m having issues it’s not letting me draw where it showed on the background. If It does when I add a second layer it won’t show on the second layer on top of the background. Can you help?
