When I stretched a string to get perfectly straight rows, he said you don’t need to do that. After people started asking how we got the rows so straight, he wanted to stretch a string every time.
I just plant with the radish plate without any modification they are thick but just harvest selectively the first picking. You can also tape over ever other or every third hole completely to plant thinner.
