- Welcome back to my channel! Today I'm share my AM and PM hair care routine when wearing my v-part wig/u-part wig. Wigs are a great protective styles when your treating it as a protective style and not a replacement for your real hair. Taking care of your real hair underneath is key!!!

A lot of women neglect their natural hair underneath wigs. Glycerin is my best friend. I spray my hair and scalp with rose water then oil my scalp with the glycerin. Keeps the hair soft, moisturized and healthy.

How often do you moisterize with it?
@@iyabomarvel8506 with Glycerin you don't have to overdo it. I use it twice a week. It helps thinning areas also by stopping breakage.

My underwig care includes the TROPIC ISLE LIVING hair growth leave in mist and growth oil before bed. The mint/ rosemary smell makes it good for those who work out.

My AM routine is very minimal. I use JBCO on my edges only apply my silk wig cap and apply my homemade headband wig or my half wig. In the PM, I apply my homemade Ayurvedic oil or JBCO to my scalp before I shower. Currently, I have about 8 cornrows, the steam from the shower moisten my hair. When out I apply a shower cap, cotton durag and scarf to secure, then off to bed.

Nice and easy routine. Where do you find a silk wig cap? I am sure that is good for your hair instead of the regular stocking cap like ones.

April do you prefer sew ins or wigs? What do you recommend for someone who works out often?
I prefer sew ins but wigs come in handy! I'd recommend people do whichever work best for them. Example...not everyone sweat in their scalp (me being one of those people) sew ins work great because I don't need to wash my hair as often do to a sweaty scalp from working out. Whereas, others that do sweat may opt for a wigs, individual braids or cornrows... because it's easy to wash and maintain the daily routine while still getting fit. Thank you for watching 💞!

Edit: I found the answer, it’s 24 inches. Can this wig be used with a side part instead of middle.
Yes, 😆 yup 24 inches but I cut it to about a 20inch. It's made for a middle part but could be use for a side part! TFW💕
April is this a daily thing u do to your hair underneath?my hair is relaxed and i ha e a questions should i wet my hair every day and put a moisturizer on it? Or just oil....whats a good daily thing to do...i keep my hair braid under wigs daily but i dont know how to daily take care of it.
I swear me too the only difference is that I don’t wear wigs right now I am about to buy one soon. When I take a shower I wet my hair then apply and aloe vera leaf that a moisturizing spray and an oil.
No, it's not daily unless my hair feels dry. I usually have to do this every other day/night. If your hair is dry you don't have to mist it with water, moisturizer or leave in conditioner will do the job . The only time I just use an oil is in the morning after I moisturized and sealed the night before. Hopefully this is helpful. Thank you for watching 😊!
