My pump was tuned by a local shop so honestly idk how much it’s turned up, I bought the truck like this, but I will say from owning 2 more of these trucks that turning the pump up definitely helps out with power, just don’t overdo it to where you’re rolling clouds
You don’t wanna mess with the fuel screw unless the pump came off another motor and is tuned differently. It is tuned to be as efficient as possible with an air gauge and special tools from the factory and you’re not gonna be gaining power from an overly rich fuel/air ratio. Just my two cents, I have rebuilt them before and never touch the fuel screw.
@@ingodwetrust1136 I believe you. Normally you don't need to but it will make a difference if the pump is older and the pressure isn't as high as it should be at the max.
Nothing better than a international idi straight piped
Ain’t that the truth ol son
Everyone tells me about how much they like the older stuff I do as well. Simple easy to work on and it cost less
It's a good thing that I like them and easy to work on. Because I'm always working on it
@@64maxpowerain’t that the truth lol
You mist have a nice budget for piles of shit cause they aint cheap
In my truck, at all times, the passenger vent window must be open to catch all the sweet turbo spool so my ears can eat it.
Sounds like a m35 whistler lol. I approve. Wish my 93 sounded like that
Haha appreciate it bud, I guess it sounds so good because of the 3 inch straight pipe out the side
@@JTsBuildsandFields Banks kit? Next IDI I get is definitely going to be turboed, although NA they still sound cool
@@CharredSteak no it’s the ats turbo kit from a 93 factory turbo truck

@@buttonysquare8501 I turned it up 2 flats already, it was a night and day difference, minimal smoke and low egts
