They're both living in mansions and have money. Showtime are looking to profit off this event... the amount of money it would take to potentially pay these guys off would be so high it'd make no sense. They wouldn't want to work with Jake in future if his fights didn't generate a lot of money. Jake wants to work with them...plus neither fighter benefits from diving if they got paid one time, then couldn't book a big fight again because everybody saw a dive.
He respects fighting too much to take a dive imo, I believe every word that Anderson said here about doing his best and nothing short of that.

This will be a very different fight for Jake. Silva has movement. Silva is a striker. Silva has size and reach. Silva has been boxing for a decent amount of time rather than just a few months and has some decent wins.
What Silva of course has against him like all the other fighters Jake has chosen is Silva is a retired MMA fighter, Silva is way older, Silva did retire getting KO'd.

Facts
Rigging fights on this level just isn't feasible. So many moving parts, so many ways to get caught, absolutely no point or benefit to either fighter; both have money, and both have pride... it just makes no sense. Anderson didn't KO Chavez Jr in the first round, and Jake is much bigger and likely to be more durable. Not to mention, Anderson has often been a slow starter, finding his range and establishing ring control. A third round TKO seems reasonable to me.

No it’ll be the exact opposite. If Silva wins then Jake fighting someone like KSI would make more sense. But if Jake wins, then him fighting KSI will be less likely to happen because fighting KSI at that point would be a major decrease in level of opponent.
