How Not to Kayak Swallow Falls

(04/06/2024) How not to run Swallow Falls on the Youghiogheny River. I got way too far right and flipped in the middle of the drop. Luckily I was fine with only a few scrapes. The Level was around 800 cfs, which made things beefy. Overall though, I had a blast and look forward to getting back out here at some point.

Yea. Usually I try to set reference points when scouting things I want to run but that doesn’t always work. Things look different from the boat compared to the shore. I didn’t realize I was that far right till I was right at the top.
