In Minnesota we can generally find them around the last week in May thru the first week in April.. but the last couple of years they've been running a bit late.
@@tomkarauThat’s a very similar timeframe for Kansas. I usually find them while I’m out turkey hunting.

Can you tell me is this in northern Georgia? Are state parks good for hunting them. I've never been.
It is not permitted to pick mushrooms in state parks. About an hour from ATL...
I live in Woodstock and would definitely like to join you on one of these trips.

I go several places in Georgia I live in Paulding County and I do my guided hunts in Jasper County
