I had the iPhone Xs Max for a year, and I just got the new iPhone 11 Pro Max. Handoff has not worked with my Apple Watch or either of those phones.

For all of you who can’t find the icon in the bottom left, you need to first unlock your iPhone, double click the home button, and tap the icon in the bottom of your screen
1) open Apple Watch compatible app
2) Unlock iPhone
3) double click home button
4) in the multitask screen (app manager), tap the icon in the bottom of the screen
