- Plowing & Disking with Allis Chalmers Tractors
In this video I am showing an Allis Chalmers 4W 220 tractor pulling a White Farm Equipment 7 bottom moldboard plow and in the same field is the farms Allis Chalmers 8050 tractor pulling a White 5 bottom moldboard plow. Also in the video is the same Allis Chalmers 4W 220 tractor pulling an Allis Chalmers model 2500 disk harrow. In the video I give a little history on these tractors and at the end of the video is a link to another video of this farm chopping corn silage and filling silo using their Allis Chalmers Tractors.
This farm had a very nice collection of Allis Chalmers Tractors and several of them are in the other video I did from this farm.
Discing with one hand and holding his kid with the other, by the looks of it. Iconic
Really well kept equipment here ! Love seeing the old Allis’s !!
Not only has the equipment been well maintained but the farm is beautiful.
Man, I love these AC videos! That 4-220 is awesome and one of my favorite AC's.👍👍👍
👍👍👍👍👍 good show iam glad its something different than all the green paint!!
Love the AC's!!
Awesome video Mike, thanks. We still run AC, our 8070 has a Cummins 8.3 in it, best thing that ever happened to it. We have two 7060s, a 7045, 200, 185, 175 and a D17 diesel.
Those are sharp looking tractors!
Damn that’s a Gorgeous Farm!!!! Wow!!!
Some of the best Tractors made.
Nice! We have over 30 AC's in our collection here in central Ohio and we grain farm a few hundred ac with um. A couple 7060s with Cummins and 10,000+ hrs from yrs of dairy operations. Love seeing any old iron still earning its keep. Bob
Allis Chalmers 👍👍
Both plows need the tail wheels adjusted, they should steer into the furrow wall slightly, they will do a better job if they're pulling straight
I did a lot of Cultivating with a C-Allis
and a one row cultivator.
Nice lineup of Allis tractors putting in work. We had a 7580 back in the 80s and also pulled a White 7 bottom semi mounted in furrow plow like this one.
That keeps those tractor looking nice. Thanks for sharing this vedio
That farm has an awesome equipment lineup👍😁
Nice video👍👍
What a lovely tidy farm. Looks just like a model. The 4WD tractor is a very handsome looking machine.
Still plowing fields...incredible. Where I come from it is rarely done.🕷
i knew that motor sounded familiar, big cummins
I love love love all the AC you've filmed recently, we had a 2 8050s a 8070, and a Cummins powered 7080 in the past. The cab on the 8000 series Allis was second to no one. Great video!
Well maintained older equipment, still doing the job 👍
Great Video. Dont get to see Allis Chalmers on your channel to much. This is Awesome is all i can say.
Man, you end 22 with one of the greatest videos and now you're kicking off 23 with another great video! What's next a 4w220 working next to a 4w305😁. Keep up the great work.
great stuff Mike!
Awesome video Mike 👍🏻.
Old School..... Golden Age.....!!!!!
Awesome vid mike. Big difference in cabs between the 7 thousand and 8 thousand series. Y’all can have a party in the 8 thousand cabs
another great video mike!!!! love the Orange!!!!!
Very cool video!
thats a clean yard wow
My dad would fall over seeing this
Plenty of snow here, gone riding.😎😎
I like Mike less videos on CZcams from the imperial county California 🌽🌽🌽👍
Hello everyone good vidéo mike lees Good sound motor allis chalmers big muscle
Cool to see the original barn still being used while these big dairies are going to freestall style barns
Nice sir
Top notch video again 👌. 👍. Happy subscriber 😊!
Nice equipment and a very nice looking farm. I have a 2500 disc and it is good disc. Mine is not that big though.
What is impressive to me is that you do not see any smoke comming from the tractors plowing. I know they did not DEF on them.
Looks like jr fell asleep in that beautiful 4W220
Zdravím z České Republiky radost pohledět jen tak dál 🔥🔥🐲🐲🐉🐉🚜🚜🚜🌲🌲👀😉😉♥️♥️🐻🐻👀👀💪💪💪 lesu zdar
Mike I don’t know if you ever did a video on it, but it’d be neat to see a video on the Allis-Chalmers 8095, they only made 4 of them and from what I understand there’s 3 left.
Hey if I could find one I would.
@@farmhandmike these guys out in MO own 2 of them.

I don’t even like allis but I still like watching old classics getting the job done! Did these guys restore these tractors or did they buy them new and just keep them that nice?Same for the disk?
Hello!
Farm and Mike I'm coming to the farm machinery show
What that farmer just holding a baby casually in the disking portion? 🤣
That’s how some of us grew up my guy
We take the term "family farm" very seriously lol. Her mom was flying the drone so she got to go for a tractor ride.
Sounds like there are plenty of stones in the field.
Hey Mike, do you know of any 440s out there still that you could film one day? It’d be cool to hear one with the cripple nickel screaming along
Well I may just know of one fairly close by
that 8050 pulling the plow looks a lot like a 8010
It is, we must have told Mike wrong when we gave him the footage. I know we did have the 8050 on the plow as well at some point.
Running a pull-type forage harvester with an articulated 4WD tractor seems kind of overkill.
Why’s that? The tractor is 220 horsepower and the visibility is much better.
@@farmhandmike Nvm, its aooarently not overkill as the New Holland FP230 only requires 150 PTO hp at a minimum to operate, and the recommended is apparently 225, so 220 is probably more than enough to get the job done.
The 4w 220 was the baby 4wd, that is why it was supplanted by the mfwd 8070. Those fp230's are power hungry too. The 8070 has been pto dyno'ed at over 300hp and it will still bark pretty good when you push it, but it's better for everything if you just back off a gear.
