Johanna Quaas, Freyburger Dreikampf 2015

All-around / Mehrkampf, Johanna Quaas 2015:
Three month before her 90th birthday in November the oldest active gymnast of the world, Johanna Quaas from Halle / Sa. in Germany, made a phantastic competition again and won the all-around (parallel bars, bench & floor exercices) in the outdoor arena of the City of the German grandfather of gymnastics, Friedrich Ludwig Jahn, in Freyburg at the river Unstrut.
Registered in the "Guinness Book of World Records" (2013) as oldest femal gymnast of the world Johanna said: "I give my invitation around the world for the next, the Olympic year 2016: May be another elderly lady with more than 80 or 90 years will come in August to Freyburg for a common competition."
In May 2015, Johanna was awarded as the very first general senior gymnast of the International Hall of Fame with the Nadia Comaneci Sportsmen Award!

... of course! She is 95 years old, an is very dynamic and active already. But she didn't start in competitions on the gymnastics apparatus. Every mrning she make her special bed gymnastics. Johanna still likes to ride a bike :
