7:34 long. Well played
Very nice sounds on the engine and pretty neat view when climbing that one C&P hill as well.
Thanks. All the sounds were captured either in June of 2015 when I ran the engine, or in February of 2016 when I was assistant fireman. So these sounds are as authentic as they get. And me being an engineer on the model is legit this time.
+Craftymethod its all mostly payware, with a few locomotive and rolling stock freeware. I gotta admit, for the work these guys are doing at K&L are spot on. It's worth the money if you are curious :)
I noticed that the video is 7 minutes and 34 seconds long. Very Clever!
+stevelerro by the way, amazing model!
This and the prior 2 models were pretty easy to work with the running number being the video length. This won't be the same case for Southern 4501 lol
+stevelerro that's for sure!
+Joe B UNLESS!
you manage to do this: 4:50.1 long! XD
+Jackboy317 it's too bad the CZcams player doesn't do the hundredth measurement. Otherwise it's be easier to do on almost all the models. But it was fun while it lasted. Sure seemed to have gotten a few laughs. There are a few engines next year that this will work with 😁
I get the feeling Steve has seen Ol' Mountain Thunder More than any Engine.
His older videos show videos of 734
You guys made my childhood come to trainz, the last time I saw this engine was in DVD movie called all about fast trains and they showed 734 in the first part.
I Really Miss WMSR 734.At least K&L Trainz Made WMSR 734 to Keep It Alive
Hey. K&L, I have 3 things to say.
1. I love all the cool content you two have been making.
2. Have you ever thought of making the S-1, T-1, and S-2 Steam Turbine engines of the Pennsylvania Railroad?
3. Can you show us how is how you make your content?
Please try to answer as soon as possible. Thanks
- Cpt. Tanktrainctaft
there are already models of the s1 s2 and t1
Thats on the trainz disscussion forums by daylightrain
ok now this is getting ridiculous.
first the 1218 vid is 12:18,
then the 611 is 6:11
and then THIS?
lol
Just wait until they come out with the Southern 4501 lol
hopefully they don't go into a 45:01 video (or maybe a 4:50.1)
Take a look at some of the prices on their website! Same concept!
That is one deep whistle suited for the north 2 hours away from I went to Duluth, MN.
Hey, A good idea for Trainz is Milwaukee Road 261 which is a 4-8-4 S3 class locomotive, and if you do make it, please do it with the Mars light because my best memories of the locomotive are when it had the Mars light
Hmm. Ok thanks for the info. Do you know when hes going to make it available for the public and what versions of trainz will be supported?
Looks like your dream came true
I’m rewatching this when this Channel hit 7.34K subscribers 😂
I have this engine. It runs great. K&l trainz is my favorite site for authentic steam locomotives for trs2012
I love the 734
At 7:36. Page changed right at 7:34. Great timing Steve. I am gonna grab this as soon as I finish this video. Excellent. Happy to see 819 added, she will be at home beside 1522.
Yes! Those two and 1218! All that's left is 844!
+stevelerro wait you are or aren't making an 844?
+King Cotton I know about that, but I meant that 819 won't be put in the same place with 1522.
+M Turkovich supposedly Jointed Rail has plans for 844. They are currently working in the actual Western Maryland H class 2-8-0s.
+ToledoRails okay thanks
This looks great. I have to say in the past you have gotten some great narrators, and you told me how you did it. Now I must open my big mouth and ask this question. What do you think about maybe getting baseball legend Vin Scully to narrate one of you future vids. Just a thought. Either way, great model and keep up the good work!
nice train video.
Thanks.
+stevelerro are you guys playing this on trainz a new era plz say yes
can you tell me what map that is
Is this particular route available to download anywhere? Very realistic to the real route!
By the way when your update page comes out could you please make a SP6 chime like the one on the 734 in late 2015. Just a suggestion.
+M Turkovich or you can live with the whistle it has now.
+lionelkid456 yes
The updates page is going to include fixes for the engine specs on my older models and list when any known bugs were identified and fixed. If you buy the SP MT4 on our site, it includes an SP 6 chime that could fill in for the one it wore last year.
+stevelerro oh, okay I understand thanks for letting me know.
Any planned date for the Q2?
+stevelerro hey just wanted to know if you doublehead two different steam locomotives can you still blow both whistles separately (the first loco still has it's own whistle and the second still has it's).
Is it a mod that lets you pan the camera like that?
where do you get the scenery and map from to make the videos
Is this a custom made map or is it from download station?
BTW Great Job!!!!!!!!
Pere Marquette Productions he makes all these scenes just for his promos. They aren’t full routes just scenes. He doesn’t release them.
Hey Steve, even though you may not read this, and may not take requests, I would really appreciate it if you could create the shay locomotives from Cass Scenic Railroad in West Virginia as it's been a tradition to go there every year for my family, if you do need "specific" locomotives to build, any of them are fine, but 11, 4, 5, and 6, are my favorites as they are the only active shays there today besides the Heisler locomotives. But if you could please do this for me, many thanks!
Hey hey folks
How do you get the men with the tripod?
Hey Steve sorry to keep bugging you but if you haven't started working on the Q2 could you please do the CN 3254 you don't have to just asking
nice work and btw do you know were I can download the map or is it custom made
Will 734 ever come back?
It's cool how when you make a peomo video the length of the video is the number of the train you are showing.
If you don't mind me asking, where can I get this route?
Yeah I'm looking for it too.
Did you created this route or found it somewhere
I made it from a DEM on the DLS
But Bill Klene and Steve Lerro, it's the 729, not the 734.
Oh my gosh it is terrific I have a couple of suggestions of engines when you finish all of the ones that are currently in progress. You should make a big boy, FEF in gray and black with and without deflectors, a challenger in black and gray with and without deflectors, and finally the Milwaukee Road 261.
I agree with all!
+ktrainbfs thanks they are some of my favorite engines
+M Turkovich that wont be for a long while. let him do what he wants
He has engines up until 2018, plenty more than the 6 fabulous ones currently in line.
+lionelkid456 okay
Where’d you get the map from?
Soon, this engine will be joined by 1309. Steve. Bill. Better get 1309 commissioned.
Per say, will you ever make a PRR T1, S2, or S1?
Where did you get the route?
Great job! I'd love to get this, but for me, its just not the same without the route so I haven't bought. Is it available anywhere?
Well, there is a blank dem of WMSR on the dls and Cumberland routes by jrfolco on the DLS but based on the 1950’s. You could always modify it to be more like the WMSR and add a turntable in Frostburg and delete the track to the tunnel. There’s also a highway bridge missing by Cumberland WM station, the highway didn’t exist in the 50’s.
Whats that tunnel or portal at 3:20
wasn't 734 a former LS&I?
yes.
`yes she was,
She was LS&I #34.
+Trainzkid939 because as an Ls&I engine, she was 34, at the WMSR, she is modeled and numbered after Western Maryland H class which is a 700 series number. So they picked 734
there is a video called steam in the winter but it was not included. You may be mentioning winter steam spectacular though!
Why, yes! as a matter of fact it used to be LS&I #34.
Did 734 always have that tender or did they get another one for her ?
I haven’t watched videos about 734 for awhile
It had it's original tender when it came to the WMSR, but during the restoration, the tender was replaced with the NYC Mohawk tender she used until 2016. The original tender is stored in the yard in Ridgley.
I Would buy a Western Maryland route this well detailed if it is based around the 1950's
There is one, by jrfolco on the dls. There are a few different ones. He did base them on the 1950’s when there were more tracks. Much of the WM west of Hagerstown is abandoned and gone outside the section WMSR uses. Some parts are trails you can walk on.
Can you make 1309 as well
Hey quick question, do you have a planned date for the Q2 because I have waiting a long time for it.
Haven't even started it yet. Way too many other things to work on before I get to it.
+stevelerro okay disappointing but I understand completely
+stevelerro could you also please answer a question I had on SpeeddemonTS10 Hudson Video
+MPT 482 oops I meant Niagara
ITS OUT!!! AND FIRST COMMENT!!!
I don't care if your first
@@kadenrobinson7067 r\woosh so rude
hey steve i was wondering what kind of updates will be on the updates page
New engines specs for the older models will added to it soon. I've been away from working for the last month or so will I've been traveling around, so I haven't been able to add them yet. I'll get to it before the summer ends.
oh cool thx happy travels and is there any planned released date for the Q2
I know that in Dcc mode, it can only go up to 30mph due to its 57” drivers, but in reality; she can actually go up to 65-70mph with that driver diameter. Plus, i kind of see it a little hypocritical since the Strasburg 90 model can go up to 50. And she has 56” drivers, one inch smaller than 734’s. I know i’m the only one saying this but, i really want there to be an update patch for this model so when playing in dcc mode, she can go up to 40 since most routes in the game have a maximum speed of 40 anyways.
Nice Work! BTW I Was Wondering, If You Were Ever Gonna Make An ATSF Model. Like 3751 Or 2926, But That Might Never Happen. But Anyways Nice Work! :)
3751 is on their projects list
I know that, this comment was made back when I was a needy little gimmie-pig. XD
Mr. Lerro sir, I know guys have other projects planned but I am wondering if you are going to make a model of a PRR T1 locomotive, especially since a new T1 is being made from scratch (assuming you guys heard about that).
There's already a t1 for Trainz.
+ktrainbfs Yes, I know. But considering Pendennis Castle's review for K&L Trainz's N&W J class model, I don't see why not they can't make a detailed, realistic PRR T1 model.
+Connor Flaherty that's the thing...
the current t1 is up to k&l standards. on the weekends you can get it on simulator central for like 5 bucks. I have it and it's awesome.
+ktrainbfs Yes, but does it also include the look without the streamline shrouding? K&L Trainz can make a model with that as well as the look as they were delivered. They might also send half the amount we pay to help complete the 5550 project, considering their N&W J Class model and WSMR 734 model.
+Connor Flaherty I am not turning every model I make into a charity donation for real trains. The 611 is trademarked so I legally HAVE to give money to them per the 611 trademark license. And for 734, I personally ran that engine and am personal friends with many of the crew, so I want to help them get their engine back up again. I spend a massive chunk of my money on making these models so, I'm not giving more away every single time.
What route DLC is this? I am going to get it, and does it come with the locomotive and consist?
Respond ASAP
Sincerely, Christopher Northway
Package just has the engine and rolling stock. The scenes shown in the video are just a group of locations I modeled. No actual complete route.
@@KLTrainz OK
Le 7:34 long. I see an influence here.
I'm sad that the 734 is out of service I remember it best from the all about fast trains video I had as a kid (which also featured Strasburg 90 as well) and with the restoration for c&o 1309 I hope it works out for the wmsr (of course I read in a post with the restoration for the 1309 could run the wmsr out of business) I hope that It doesn't
I miss her! Saw her dozens of times, cab rode a bunch of times, and got to run her twice. So many different whistles and crew members that made it an adventure every time! Really hope it works out for 1309 so they get finances back in order and find a way to get 734 back and running. Rome wasn't built in a day....so hopefully over time, it'll come to fruition.
I really do hope it does work out too
Maybe just maybe the Western Maryland probably Preserve her if they don't I'm going to be so sad
@@kadenrobinson7067 im pretty sure the 734 should run again after the 1309 is running
are you guys using trainz a new era
Mike Pericolosi Are you sure
Mike Pericolosi ok fam
what pc do you use?
I've gone through 5 computers throughout the 6 years i've been running K&L. A few macbook pros, a Mac Pro tower (used for this video), and recently bought an iMac Pro.
K&L Trainz how much was the tower
is this Trainz 12? or T:ANE?
Trainz Mac 1 from 2011. The models works in 2012 and TANE as well
what’s the name of the while for tane?
lake superior & ishpeming 34
Will you ever make a CSRR 7470?
Made it 2 years ago
Maybe you could do Strasburg #31 or Mount Rainier Scenic Railroad #17 or #5.

7 minueites and 34 sec wow the same number as 734
Watch the N&W J 611, N&W A 1218, N&W M 475 and Cotton Belt 819 videos
haha I see what you did
JUST SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY
Sadly this locomotives now put out of service
She was put out for for FRA inspection, but since 1309 has moved under her power, we might see progress on 734's 2nd restoration by late this year or maybe next year
@@AdmiralColdhead and here I thought they were just gonna let it rot across the river, I hope they fix it. It’s not the same with the diesels
