Holy Cow!!! BRAVO EVERYONE!!! I’m 64, I wish I could dance to this!!! Oodles of FUN!!! THANKS BAND & LOUIS PRIMA
Brilliant, well done that drummer (and the rest of the band) 🥁👍😬
Drummer killed it! Great job.
💓I loved this!💓 🎶Thank you talented musicians!🎶 🎵Thank you Video1Unit!🎵
Enjoyed the music. Nice to go back.
Well done fellas! The whole band sounded true to the original. Drummer = EXCELLENCE!! I think he was really in tune with Gene Krupa.
Amazing!!!! Thanks for sharing!
That was one of the best renditions I've ever heard.
Just listen to Gene's 1960 performance of Sign, Sing on the Ed Sullivan show. Then you know how it the master does it.
Wow! Super! Thanks!
Great stuff! Ty
WOW, Holy-Hell ! !
Now that was a BLAST ! !
(THANKS) ! ! 🤗
The segment between drum solos (starting at 2:48) was goose pimple time. Wonderful! Drummer excelled (single stroke rolls were awesome. Loved the whole thing!
Fantastic!
Fantastic!!
guitar player's left ear hates that drummer
The drummer is retired Air Force SSgt Walter White. He spent 15 years in various Air Force bands
Excellent job
Great solo
Jist wow !
With Betty Grable on the drum!
Bravo 👏
Funny
Perfect! Greetings from Russia! :)
Top notch !
Yes the drummer is very good but to say the best ever ( especially on this tune ) is saying quite a bit. Check out Charly Antolini's drum solo on Sing Sing Sing on youtube, That drumming is the best iv'e ever heard on this classic drum feature.
Yeah there always has to be some piece of shit know it all like you who has to spread negativity. The drummer is a retired Air Force drummer, and they are of the highest quality musicians, so you just take your opinion and shove it straight up your ass!

Every one has an opinion! Which is great! I hear one thing, you hear another! That's what makes swing jazz so great! Or any style. Sonny Rollins ' album "Sunny side up" made me crazy. Then Sonny Stitt! I'm in heaven! Some album!!

Swing music cuts across generations like no other genre of songs. SSS especially, with its nonstop driving drum beat. Story has it that when Prima wrote the song in 1936, he titled it Sing, Bing, Sing, referring to Mr. Crosby. No evidence has ever surfaced to verify or disprove it though.
COLIN BALL: YES, THIS IS A TERRIFIC DRUM SOLO. WE'RE NOT LISTENING TO THE ORIGINAL. WE'RE LISTENING TO THIS ONE!! I, MYSELF WANT TO JUMP UP AND DANCE ALL AROUND THE OFFICE TO THIS MUSIC. THAT DRUMMER PUTS HIS HEART, SOUL AND ARMS INTO BEATING THAT DRUM. HIS WHOLE BODY IS JUST JUMPING AND THAT TAKES A LOT OUT A MAN/WOMAN. HE IS Sooooo EXCELLENT!. NO NEED TO TELL US ABOUT GENE KRUPA OR BUDDY RICH. WE KNOW THEY ARE SENSATIONAL. I LISTEN TO THEM ALL THE TIME, TOO. THERE ARE 1,000's OF GREAT MUSICIANS IN THE WORLD, BUT WE ALL HAVE OUR GOD GIVEN TALENTS. NO TWO PLAYERS ARE THE SAME. JUST ENJOY THEM FOR WHAT THE PLAY. WE DON'T HAVE TO PUT PEOPLE DOWN. SYLVIA - FL 9/13/2019
To me, the ONLY Sing, Sing, Sing that's worth was played, once, in Carnegie Hall.
The best is the Carnegie Hall concert! Wat an attendance! What I've give to be there! Gene Krupa's solo! I passed out(almost )! My opinion, Top 5 of all swing songs! That covers a lot legends!
The dumbest thing is " Who's better ?" Every artist has their own take. I enjoy them all. From early Duke Ellington and the Washingtonians to early Benny Moten / Count Basey. There's no best. They "all" have a view. Enjoy them all!!
Good, but no Buddy Rich, then again who is?
Gene said himself that "Buddy was the best drummer to ever draw breath"
Honest appraisal he’s not Vincent or Krupa but for an amateur he has some nice chops. Moves from singles to doubles with ease, nice snare work and a one handed roll briefly and all locked in with the hi-hat.
And we don’t even get to know the name of the drummer? Nobody seemed to even introduce him before or after the song. Fantastic musicianship.
Great job but no Krupa.
Bismillahiirohmaanirrohiim. I like this song. Wslm.
kyoto tachibana
Should have put a mic. in front of the bloody clarinet !!
These guy is a beast
Mr Drummer: I like your solo. Are you able to play 2 bass drums? Louis Bellson, I heard was the first to use 2 If you use 2 bass drums, try playing eighth notes at this tempo in the solo. Then only the bass drums. See how the audience reacts. If you do that, I do not think you will return to the single bass drum set.
Best Drum solo ever by a big guy!
Why were they doing the 1920's Charleston at a 1940's radio show? Decent drum solo. The BEST EVER? Who wrote that?
That’s not the Charleston. Luis Prima was the writer. He had a great band. This was done in 1936. And played all through the war.
Who said this was the best drum solo ever,Listen to Jeff Hamilton on You Tube
Dudes Bun E Carlos undercover
5:28 - 5:38 ...we're those triplets he was trying to play? Because they sucked.
私この曲すきーーーーーー(∩´∀`∩)❤️❤️❤️
Dommage. Très bon mais the sound !!!!?
So sorry to inform you that is not the best drum solo ever. No way. Buddy Rich could and would make that guy behind the drum set run off the stage and go home and never come back again
Buddy Rich is DEAD, you moron! What's your reason for the negativity you fucking piece of SHIT???!!!

We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid. -
Buddy Rich probably had the most speed of any drummer, but Gene Krupa had speed plus feeling and soul. Sorry Buddy, speed isn't everything.
The drummer is fine. Any drummer with chops can play this chart. Greatest solo was click bait
NO CHOPS. ALL THE SAME DRY BORING NOISE OVER AND OVER. NO CREATIVITY. ALL THESE BELOW MEDIOCRE DRUMMERS TRYING TO COPY GENE KRUPA. WHY NOT PLAY SOMETHING ELSE. KRUPA'S SOLO WAS CREATIVE BUT TECHNICALLY NOT DIFFICULT.
Your jealous is showing...A truly good drummer/musician/music critic would never need to say this. Peace!
Every time my mom complained about my music, I cranked this one up... 😂
