Most informative. I have never been tempted to acquire one after I had to sort out an AE 0.2 c.c. for a friend. The NVA in them is 'agricultural' to say the least. I had to replace it with a (now long unobtainable) Schlosser NVA for the Schlosser 0.25 c.c.. Nearly 'plug and play' to fit, and after the exchange the little AE 0.2 c.c. ran predictable and very sweetly. You did my TT .54 diesel conversion nearly a decade ago.
High, can you please build this engine into a *tiny diesel locomotive model?* Solving the transmission issue would be interesting -- whether it should be hydraulic or electric.
rcdieselrc I literally arrived at this video because I was looking into building a live diesel model of a GEVO Locomotive. If you did that it would be ultimately cool. Also what would you think of creating an Franken AE engine where you slap a few of them together (like in a V12 or Inline 6 configuration) and slap a flywheel on it and see where it goes from there? If I tried that would it be successful do you think?
Hello sir can you explain how the fuel goes to cylinder head without pump ??? And how that burn without spray jet ?? I think 450 °c required to burn diesel .. please answer my questions
This is a simple two stroke compression ignition engine. They are called diesel, but are really what is today termed HCCI, Homogenous Combustion Compression Ignition. The fuel contains a significant portion of ether which has a low autoignition temperature to reduce the compression ratio required.
This particular engine has not been made in 20 years. You can still get model diesel engines. Progress Aero Works and others still produce small engines.

I just love the AE 0.1, thanks for the posting.
Your voice is also 0.1cc😂😂😂😂

Electric would be my choice, but geared would be OK. Hydraulic at this size?

How to buy this? Share link please..
Try Ebay. These have not been made in over 20 years. Not many were made to begin with. There are however many model diesel engines still made.
