Glad I bought the cinelite, just waiting for my slides to be shipped from out of country.

I was glad to see you use the EFH with the CS-Lite as I'm about to do the same. I'll try the shim trick for balance. Also the camera settings were helpful to see. Thanks for the video.

If you already have the EFH system, YES! If you haven't bought it yet, then maybe look at the film holders by Valoi, they were made to fit perfectly on the Cinestill CS-Lite. At least it's how they are marketing it.

Thanks for this, was looking for a good review. it seems like not many people have made videos about it.

Thank you for the comparison, very helpful. As you were comparing the Ektachrome scans, I wondered if some people scan those with a warming filter on their lens, maybe an 85b.
The last time i scanned them I didn't, and correcting the cast was indeed quite difficult.

I wouldn't recommend it as it can throw off the white balance of the camera, especially in the highlight and the sky. Slide is quite difficult to scan with a dslr setup but this light makes it a little bit easier

Hi, wonderful video! I just wondering if the Cinestill CS-Lite is already a diffused light source? Thank you.
