Because of your excellent review, I brought a 2021 Gibson Traditional Pro V from Craigslist this morning. Had to wake up at 5:45 in the morning to avoid traffic. I had to drive 134 miles each way, but it was worth it. This guitar is a sleeper, years from now they are going to talk about it on guitar forums…

Best review ever on this guitar. It is hard to find any reviews on the Trad Pro V. With the weight relieve it’s like a souped up 60’s custom. I was originally thinking about buying the 60’s custom until I came across your channel. Your playing is so awesome with your fun personality I just had to subscribed to your channel. Don't think, just buy it!!!....Trust me, Coming from heavy metal, I was skeptical of Gibson because of what I "read" on the internet......played mostly Jackson and Shredder type stuff my entire life.........but I forked up the cash(yikes), and was hoping I didn't make a mistake!........then I plugged it in, HOLY SHIT, that babys got tone!!!! Never played anything like it before.......it's hard to describe the Sound/Character over the internet, but man I will NEVER listen to idiots who hate on Gibson ever again!!! I got mine in Flat Black, no gloss or shiny stuff! But wow I totally get the Gibson thing now.

Got it today. It's basically brand new. Case/candy, Zero fret wear and just a few super light pick scrapes. Low action, no high frets. I love it, I played with it for hours.

Ok, so I started watching this and thought, "oh watching this idiot is going to be a waste of time", well, I was completely wrong. What an excellent video review. Playing all styles, fluently, giving a true demonstration of what the guitar is capable of, showing the versatility of the sounds from each pickup and coil taps, etc. was absolute perfection. Very well done my man!. 20 minutes completely worth watching and listening to.

Dude...I can't even believe this video. Going into it, didn't expect much, and it was awesome from the start!! I'm trying to decide between a Standard, Traditional, Classic, and the Trad Pro V. I just bought a black satin Traditional Pro V Mahogany, holy balls that thing smokes. I have purist buddies that scoffed at the push-pull pots and DIP switches but guess what? My Les Paul can sound just like any other Les Paul, easily of course, but it's much more versatile than their $3500 Customs. I think they're just mad. Oh and I hang my straps the same way in the studio lol. Great video man!

I’ve been a little on the fence for the past like 6 months if I should get the satin version of this guitar for around $1600 because the most I’ve ever spent on a guitar is $900 but I think this review pushed me over the edge toward buying it lol. I just got myself one yesterday. My first LP, loving it. It's got everything I could want, compound radius, the electronics give me all the tones, locking tuners and looks. The downside is how to justify buying more guitars in the future?

I'm skeptical about the compound radius fretboard and asymmetrical neck. Thus far I have preferred a 50's neck with medium jumbo frets. Can you comment on how easily I might transition to this new neck, fret-radius and 'modern' frets?
I'm a huge fan of the 50's neck however, I immediately felt right at home with the asymmetrical neck on this Les Paul. I believe you will be able to transition to this neck style with no issues. The best way I can describe the feel of this neck and fret combo is comfortable & quick feeling I would definitely recommend it to any player!🤘🎸

I got the Ebony satin Trad Pro V. Beat guitar I have ever owned hands down. I know what you mean when you said “it almost plays it’s self”. At first I had this little 20 watt solid state practice amp. I ended up picking up a Fender Blues Deluxe. Now when I use coil split it sounds like a completely different guitar.

@@gretzkyan when the knobs are pushed down the double humbuckers are engaged. When you pull the knobs up the single split coil is engaged and sounds twangy like a Stratocaster. Really awesome technology in this guitar!🤘🔥🎸
