omg Ana, when I tell you you're literally the most perfect human being I've every seen, I mean it. I started writing books in 2021 and gave up around June of 2023 and I'm just getting back into writing and I've been over-saving all of your videos to my watch later playlist so I can refresh my memory and this video is SPECIFICALLY what I was looking for! you're a mind reader and you deserve main character in a best-selling novel! I was watching this while getting my ideas that i plotted into bullet points into a chapter by chapter organizing thing (im making a comic) then i had to pause this bc my brain couldn’t multitask but im still finishing watching this

My main problem with plotting is the gaps between important scenes. Like sometimes your characters need a few weeks or months to integrate themselves into a new setting and befriend new people, and I just don't know how to bridge that time without a lazy timeskip. They work for the integration part, just not for the befriending part. Especially in a "non-humans in a human setting" story, I just don't know how to keep that time exciting.
Dealing with multiple povs is also quite a struggle. I just don't come up with an exciting second plot, but I need it for later information and to balance out the first plot.
How can you have so many ideas? 😭😭 I admire you so much for it! You have my greatest respect! 😊❤

Also what I love doing is finding all those edgy and maybe funny (tumblr and etc) quotes to suit the characters, it really shows their personality and makes them more relatable haha

What I do which I find really annoying, is if I’m listening to music, I zone out thinking about some really cool scene in my head that has me tossing and turning with excitement, and that doesn’t sound too bad, but if I’m reading something, I end up getting really cool inspiration and forming my own scenarios, and then I end up not reading my book which I hate, but now I’m wondering if I wrote a story using my ideas, would that get them out of my head? I have thought about trying to write a story but then I’m never sure it’ll turn out that good 😢
I have to say, Ana, Campfire makes a little more sense to me as someone who wants to write their first book. It could just be me, but I like how organized Campfire looks? Idk it's just me. I do like Milanote, though, because of its customizability. I'm struggling to decide how best to organize my Scenes or Settings as you have described. I want photos from Pinterest, as you've said, but I want everything in one place. Hmmmm...

I'm not Ana haha, but I use Nameberry to find my character names, if you'd like to check it out. If I want a name with a meaning that fits with my character, I use the Advanced Search and type in a physical or personality trait of my character to find a fitting one. If your character comes from a fantasy world, maybe look for names from a real-world culture your world is based on or inspired by. Tbh, sometimes I just pick a random name that sounds cool (if they're a secondary character it doesn't matter too much anyway). Hope that made sense and I helped somewhat :)

I want to write this one book idea I have. It’s basically set in 1800s and has forbidden romance. It’s two boys ( hence why forbidden romance). However my parents know I write books, but are strict Christians. So, should I just wait until I am over 18 to publish it or find a way to do it through an app or something.
