Shhh! They don’t like when people use logic and critical thinking skills! Too much thinking involved for them so they prefer to watch documentaries that immediately begin lying about Hitler from the moment the video started.
If it were an extermination, why would they bother wasting fuel and oil to transport Political prisoners, POWs, and civilians towards the end of the war back to Germany when they have a war of life and death raging and will need all the resources to continue the fight? Why would they waste the resources to ship them to Germany in order for the “truth” of what the Germans done from the public? Why not execute on the spot?
Oh, wait… It is all making sense now.. The Katyn Massacre of the Poles was blamed on the Germans just for many years later to be revealed that it was the Soviet Union’s NKVD who committed the massacre (which, ironically, was done under the orders from a Jewish leader of the NKVD) and it was FDR and Churchill who covered up the reports of the mass executions carried out by the NKVD.
Then we learn that at the launch of Operation Barbarossa, Stalin gives orders to the Jewish leaders in the NKVD to execute the POWs and civilians in Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Poland, Ukraine and USSR and the other nations the Soviets invaded without as much as a slap on the wrist by the Allied powers.
Kinda crazy to think the Germans shipped civilians from the nations they pushed the Soviets out of back to Germany for execution to keep the truth from coming out about what the Soviets did to the POWs and civilians.. kinda sounds like they shipped these civilians to Germany because they knew if they stayed behind as the Germans retreated, it would be certain death for them all.

Very good documentary, my only complaint is that the scene of Hitler meeting with Hitler Youth at the end of the war replayed the same very brief shot of his shaking hands over and over, to illustrate his advanced physical deterioration. I understand why this was done, but it seemed slightly less intellectually honest than the rest of the (very good) documentary.

So effective I and others walked right out of the shower room disguised as a gas chamber after witnessing the others being gassed. The SS were so skilled they let us live another day. I don’t think it’s completely fair to say they weren’t punished, after the war Germany had to pay $500 billion in todays money for the damages caused by the war and even to this day Germans have to directly pay survivors of the holocaust. That’s also to say that while millions of Germans at the time were very racist and anti semitic, many were just trying to fly under the radar as you could have been imprisoned for speaking out against the regime and the vast majority of them were unaware of the holocaust until after the war

Yes Hitler just took eugenics to the extreme. Something which was already a widespread philosophy throughout the west at that point of time. Although it took a huge amount of casualties you could argue that the end of the second world war actually made people of the west see the wrongdoing in that philosophy and made for a better, less racist worldview of many people. What is both fascinating and frightening is that many people seem to forget history or at least are not able to compare their own actions to those of the nazi Germany whenever they engage in aggressive warfare and/or hatred towards people of different cultures/religions.

this is a childs take. There was never 2 fronts . It was a multi front war across the globe from the very beginning. Not all battles are the ones involving troops and tanks for example. There were battles within home nations by special interest groups to wage war upon nations that dared flee the human plantation in an event mistakenly called ww2.

But man the logistics issues would've driven me nuts! Imagine having the power but your reach is too short! Defense would've worked far better if they stopped at certain point. But eh, some things are sort of inevitable.
