Benny = Beaded Penny
= Beaded Luna? ;)
You’re right bro🤙🏼
@@Iliyena87penny pretty much is a Luna, slightly deeper
Maybe if you trew it at "speed" 3 it would go as the numbers says. Its like a driver, if you throw a 11 speed driver at 13 speed then it will be less stable than if you threw it at 11 speed.
But then throwing it compared to other stable putters it flipps and turns... But this is one way to compare indeed, but instead of speed it should be the shape of the flight thrown flat on eg. a 100' shoot for 1 Speed, 150' for 2 speed, 200' for 3 speed, 240' for 4, 280' for 5, 320' 6, 350' 7, 380' 8, 400' 9-10, 450' 11-12, 500' 13-15 :P
Love this video! I love my Lunas for how straight flying they are. Also love highlighting all of the plastics for Lone Star! I might have to try their glow plastic!!
You're right. glad some are calling out Discraft on the Luna. I have the Big-Z Luna, and it's a -1 1 (@150ft tunnelshot).
For a 0 3, try the *Stabilizer* , actually a 3 4 0 3 which is what I now use for that tunnel-shot where I need the 3 fade at the end to park it under the basket.
Maybe at the edge of circle 1 the Luna might do a baby 0 3 but that's all (and it's more like a 0 1 in amplitude but more of a tiny hard hook), so it's like everything is scaled down)
Benny started a a nickname for "beaded Penny". Then some said it was "more money" than the Penny, so it could be short for "Benjamins", slang for a $20 bill.
I'm not sure if I'm missing a joke or something, but "Benjamin" is generally slang for a 100$ bill, as Benjamin Franklin adorns it.
@@kruksog , you're right. Brain fart on my part.
@@MichaelSweet-nn5bg no worries at all. I was afraid I was missing an inside joke or something. We all misspeak. Trust me that I do regularly.
I love my glow Reko and It feels just like a microbeaded Luna to me. I might have to try the benny considering I putt with my Reko
I love a beaded putter, Do y’all think they are great or prefer no bead
8:06 at what throw-speed / distance is one supposed to throw a putter, to test it's numbers?
surely they're not made to be compared to fairway drivers or even midranges, as they're considered putters.
A comparison of the high speed drivers would be nice, every Turn -1 to -2 with 2 or 3 in fade thrown by both slower arms and a faster arm into a head and tailwind.
Eg. the Opto Ballista is my furthest thrower and I really should be able to push several other speed 11,12,13,14 as far but I have not done so except with unintentional rollers, I just seem to click with it but I rather see it proven to be physics ;)
Oh, and nvm the Destroyer and Odin or the actual Destroyer slot, I want the max distance discs for amatuers shown as thrown by pros not the actual shape of the flight ;)
One thing I'd love to see is discs that have very different rim designs but fly very similarly. Sure, flight numbers don't matter, but does rim design visual similarity give us a good guide to flight similarity?
My first thought was "Beaded" Penny
Luna is a 3/3/0/1 in my mind. Discraft should really adjust and update it. Nowhere near a 0/3
👋
No the Benny is a beaded Penny and the penny is the Luna lol
I strongly dislike when a disc doesn’t follow its flight numbers. I bought a halo roc the other day and it just flipped over on me, almost like a mamba. I have to throw a ZoneOS to get a straight to overstable midrange. I have a Benny and it threw like a 3,4,-4,1. While it’s useful it’s not what I want. I may just have ridiculous arm speed or the discs don’t hold their flight numbers.
I am OK with it if the numbers are put in relation go the manufacturers own numbers, like =K= which have some problems with overstable discs but the numbers put on the discs keep thier place in the lineup.
As long as content like this by Six Sided get put out they translation between Triology/Lonestar/Discraft/Innova/MVP is pretty manageble by nerding a while before pressing buy :)
I'm guessing it's a form issue. Record yourself flipping your Halo Roc. I have a strong suspicion you'll find out what's wrong.
@@johnshepherd6925 I just threw a round with it and it just isn’t over stable enough. I tried flipping it and it just keep going right (RHBH). I returned it and bought a Metal Flake Gator, and that flies like how I wanted the rock to fly.
@@johnshepherd6925 another thing, I don’t want to flip my discs every time, I just want to be able to throw it flat, have it go straight with no turn, and fade.
