You can easily tell why he's coined the "male Whitney Houston". Same runs, almost the same timbre. You can hear her all through his voice. He is in my top five of the greatest male vocalists. Insane vocal ability. How many men can hit a D6? Many women can't even hit that note!

One of the few guys that could out sing not only most women, but also notable male singers. At equal ages campbell > mj. Too bad we don't know what his physical prime voice sounds like. As in his 20's-early 30's. I feel his voice was the next stage of mj's. Singing wise he was the true heir to mj. Since he's the male whitney, it doesn't get much better than that.

This man was gifted but underrated. I wish someone in the music industry had found the courage to stand up for him when the scandal about his personal life broke. He should have been able to have a very long and successful career.
Come back to the World was a hidden gem I discovered in the last few years unfortunately as it didn’t seem to get as much traction as his other songs, but was definitely a bop in my book and and exceptionally great vocal. Tevin always leaves his best out on his records and live performances
