I bought my first Keene dredge 2.5 floated on a truck innertube back in 1980s for $ 550.00 Briggs and Staten 2.5 horse water pump with a garden hose hook up on the pump I ran a pressurized nozzle back then the dredge played for itself after a flood in two weekends east fork San Gabriel river
I remember the good old days at San Gabriel. I even took a 8" dredge in there for one week and we pretty dam good.
Hi Mark, I love what you've done with that 2.5" mini! You guys are like dredge design wizards! I have no dredging planned in my immediate future, but I just wanted to say thank you for all you guys have done for the gold mining industry over the years. From this beauty to that amazing 6" supermax, you keep on killing it year after year!

I agree and I would love to however the laws In Ca are most xoxo out there and it can be tough for us. I want to do one for this machine as well
@@KeeneEngInc Just remember, these aren't gold dredges, they are stream restoration machines. Under the current laws, technically you aren't polluting as you aren't "adding anything to the stream", only taking toxins such as lead and mercury out of the streams and rivers. You guys should be fine running a demonstration video of your new steam restoration machine without breaking any laws. After all, last time I checked, picking up trash was not against the law!

with the power jet roughly 2950.00. With suction nozzle 2850.00
What would it take and cost to upgrade my 2in backpack to this 2 1/2 with a power nozzle? Assuming it’s still a 1 1/4 coming from the pump. I have the blaster setup and recently purchased a ball valve to install. Took your advice the other day. Not much fine gold where I’m at so I think my sluice will be adequate. So I guess just the jet flair, 2 1/2 in flair attachment, suction hose, suction tube, and nozzle. Unless I’m missing something. 🍻
I use a 12 ft long dust bag right after the nozzle and pan that out.
I have a 2.5 in dredge I bought in late 90s early 2000's. When will it be on the market. I am needing to upgrade.

The 1.25 x 1.25 x 1" or .7" is part number SPP125 $ 55.00.
Why not optimize the nozzle with a very oval nozzle as wide as the inlet pipe,
I have the motor and pump. How much for the rest?
We had a cross bar halfmooned on the nozzle but hi pressure went to the jet. Come up we got 40 acre, can we test it??? Pay it off on a weekend.

I have seen some guys put wheels on it; however, in my mining experience, we will pull it in on a wagon and then break the rest down for the more radical parts of the trail.

My Honda pump blow out the seals in less then one season. I bought new seals but you sent the wrong seals. I'm still with out a pump.😢
If you are going though seal that fast you are most likely running to much sand through the pump. Perhaps you are running the pump dry at times. If you are not doing ether we should look at the seal load. Also if you have received the wrong seal pick up the phone and call so we can make it right. 8189930411
I have the same pump that I have run for over 10 years on the same seal a few years back we blew it out due to being lazy about sucking sand. Try placing you foot valve in a small metal bucket

please help me combat the environmental nut ball people running our county. i am restricted from using a motorized dredge. so I need a dredge powered by the nature flow of water in a river. you can use a pump but can't be powered by combustion engine and probably even electric.
