And let me say this for starters, this guy has not lost not even one single rematch. For example, the rematch between him vs Eddie Alvarez 2018 5 years ago. I didn’t see the first five but I did watch the second fight and it was live on FOX Sports & dominated The Rematch with Max Holloway in UFC 236. Four years ago, 2019. Two years ago, UFC 257 is rematch with Conor McGregor. He’s 3-0 over rematches. Justin Gaethje in the other hand has improved one year after his devastating loss to Charles Oliveira. He dominated Rafael Fiziev. I don’t see Justin Gaethje losing his fight and honestly another thing about these guys. Justin Gaethje has coach Trevor Wittman & manager Ali Abdulaziz. Friend and Teammate Kamaru Usman. Dustin Poirier has his teammate Jorge Masvidal & Coach Matt Brown. They both defeated, Michael Chandler at Madison Square Garden (UFC 268 Fall 2021 & UFC 281 Fall 2022) oh, they’re both former Interim Champions. However, they both failed to defeat the previous champions like Khabib Nurmagomedov & Charles Oliveria & the fight that’s happening tomorrow night it’s not only for the BMF felt it is determined the number one Contender who’s gonna fight for the lightweight championship early 2024. Possibility UFC 299 or 300! But I understand this whoever becomes the number one Contender it will be the last time to win the title.
