I'll be honest I like the whole single advertisement for the variety content over talking about it the whole game. Personally I'm watching the risk video for risk and not to listen to talk about a different game. Just like if I'm watching a video about another game.

Honestly the number of games that i win just by sticking around is ridiculous. I just played a 20-40 minute match what's 3 more turns to hang around and see if they screw up.

Great way to plug the variety content, I feel like it better describes the game and shows it off without interrupting the current content

Like the new style of advertising the variety videos. It gives a lot better promo for the other game, and you can script it out so you can make sure you mention the highlights without worrying about missing things in Risk like you would have with a live commentary. If you want to push it a little harder you could mention it again at the end of the video to remind people who are going to look for the next video to watch.
Love the new advert method. It promotes the content you want while giving a more focused mind for the risk content. (Maybe make it longer to get people's attention/more info? Maybe 30 sec to a minute?)

I think if it was longer personally I would change videos (or even stop watching the channel as I watch the videos for the game being played), shorter the better as its just to promote the variety videos.
Agreed this was the best method so far. Personally would run it at the beginning of the video so that it's not an interruption ad
Maybe not a longer one but a second one at the end which can give a little more explanation and makes it easier to swap to that video since the current video is over

Quick question, is it considered bad etiquette to form alliances with everyone and choose which allies to attack based on who is about to get eliminated? To be fair, 3 of us decided to contest the same territory, red and I were sharing east and west America by at some stage, but we made it to top 3 😂

Just got inspired playing risk domination myself after watching acouple of your videos and my first game is literally a 3 hour long game i got bored and sabotage another player lmao
It's frustrating watching how slow you attack :-/ Though the strategy and thought process is on point! Good game!
The game really isn't about rushing, he plays it how he's supposed to.
Mainly because he takes time to move the slider, if you adjust it correctly you lose less troops on average
@@Holy_Nocturne this is not flame by any means but he doesn't attack slow because that's how it's supposed to be... he doesn't have the mechanical skill to attack faster without making mistakes. Even after the double card trade where he used the timers as efficiently as possible he still made multiple pathing errors and didn't fortify his troops to a stronger position. All in all its fun content but compared to most other risk creators he is not nearly as mechanically skilled.
Black had to error path BOTH those kills for you to get first, very good luck on your end that the pathing was in error twice.

I would have done what black did at the end. The fact that you didn't fortify your troops back shows you aren't good at micro. That being said, black is bad at micro too, so it's not like he has the skill to out micro you whereas very good quick players do absolutely have the skill/speed to beat you in that endgame. Black is just overconfident in his own micro when his skill as about even to yours. That means since you have the advantage, you win.
Love your videos but i cant stop to be frustrated about the speed of your attacks, is there a particular reason that u attack so slowly or is it just because when u do it faster u make mistakes? U are also talking all the time about wasting your time, but they do this because of your attack speed and they realize that if they get lucky with the trades they can beat u purely on speed. Keep up the good work tho!
