Mark plans on buying a car to restore and give to his granddaughter when she grows up.

Tried to watch a couple episodes way back (around this era probably) and couldn't get past all the silly drama and Mr. Worman himself BUT...I retried the series couple/few years ago and REALLY came to enjoy it, and actually have much respect for Mark and crew. Now I am going back to the start here (obviously) to watch from it's onset. Allisa was just as gorgeous THEN as she is NOW too! Just wish us CHEVELLE fanatics had a restoration show as well. Can't wait to see the restoration of CHRISTINE either on my DVR! Keep up the great work Mark n crew, and keep those classics rollin!

Absolutely love this show. Mark is hilarious and adds a great aspect to this show. I don’t understand the hate in the comment section. Easily one of my favorite resto shows and they do such a great job. Love the new CZcams episodes and different view of the show! Keep it up

Well that brought back some memories., since that episode I've become a three times granddad myself whom I trying to get into muscle cars unsuccessfully so far also not that many laying around under tree's here in the UK..,thanks for posting looking forward to the next episode

I bought a 1970 Superbee in 2001 that had the Scat Pack Superbee decals on the rear windows. Came out of Waynesboro, GA....Low miles and awesome condition! It was light green metallic and super base!
Whole bunch of chiefs no braves best thing mark ever did was bring in a whole new crew he has an incredible paint and body man With Will Scott And an awesome builder installer all around parts technician with Dave Rea And Even his daughter and granddaughter are more help around the shop than Darren ever was Good job Mark 👍😎🤘😀✌️
A pink AAR Cuda 340 would be perfect.
Seen the later seasons so came back to watch the earlier ones so I've seen brief clips of Darren in them but never more than 1 or 2 sec at a time but with that said after watching less than 10 min of this episode he's the annoying guy at work you try to stay away from because he's always on your last nerve then just have to grin and bear it with fake laughs when he's around so you don't get fired. The people like him I've worked with it's always a huge sigh of relief when they get fired or leave and time to catch a buzz to celebrate when you get home
I would love to work there what you guys do is a dream good work and thanks for bringing them cars back to life life's a garden dig it

I love how they try to create drama by deliberately setting the timing wrong just so it won't start. This happens just about every day when I'm watching these car shows.
I waited I couldn't wait long enough to get through it I got to say Capital OMG what the hell is the drama?

Hey Mark, regarding the wiring, in your opinion which is better, one looks kinda strong, the other looks??????, the original is best but if you cannot get because they don*t make it, or haven* t been made in quite some time.
They make new grade wire that looks older style OEM
I've seen all these episodes unfortunately I can't afford cable anymore so I'm hoping you put some newer episodes on it would be greatly appreciated since I'm a firm believer in Mopar or no car

Painful to watch. The current show is so much better. I know you had to make it this way to satisfy the suits at whatever Velocity called themselves back then but lordy, what a horrible show. I do miss the born/died history of the cars though. Would like to see that brought back.

My Mom a hot red head always wanted a Pink Ford Pinto. Dad, instead he purchased a Rambler Marlin which she wrecked shortly afterwards by driving through a fence Dad had just built. She claims the brakes did not work. She could have been correct or Dad could have been killed all I know is that she ran through the fence she stop after hitting my swing set in the backyard. We were living in Lubbock Texas at the time of our first new home tract style building you finish yourself yard. Dad bought the house for $3000. Bright lime green color finished home. Later Dad had the car repaired and painted it Purple for Mom. Guess that was close to Pink as Dad could get.

That clevis pin probly costs 0.50-1.00 at the hardware store and sure as hell isnt an important OEM part of a restoration. Ole Marky all but admitted in one of the most recent episodes that the show came to be from him studying the first couple seasons of American Choppers and emulated the manufactured drama lol. Still love the guy though and his car-themed drama show is better and more authentic then most of the rest.

I LIKE THESE FIRST 4 SEASONS, MAYBE 5 THE BEST. BUT AFTER DAVE REA LEFT, THINGS REALLY CHANGED, NO REASON TO TAKE AWAY FILM TIME FROM WILL THE PAINTER TO GIVE IT TO HIS DAUGHTER. THE OLDER SEASONS, FEEL MORE LIKE AMERICAN HOT ROD, MORE SHOP FRIENDLY.

I have seen it quite a few times~Back in high school~ rich family's buy their 16yr old a fast car and then the 16yr old dies in it and usually takes 3 others with them too~My advice if you hate your kid/grandaughter buy them something they will for sure get killed in ~Best to get them a chevette for the first 5 yrs till they are much better drivers
Sorry but that is pure BS you teach your kid how to respect the car not all kids go fast and drive like morons if your a good parent you teach them to respect the car and how not to speed and act stupid that there is a time and place to do that and it's not on public roads my kid drove a car with a good amount of HP and never had a wreak in his life. he drives better then most adults because I took the time and I taught him the right way so you are totally wrong bud just saying

Girls tend to be safer. I got my first muscle car before I was 16...72 Chevelle SS 454 4spd.
I had a 71 Firebird then a 71 Cutlass with a 350 rocket. I was not reckless with driving at all. Girls just really don’t show off and speed demon their muscle cars irresponsibly.
Gave it a chance but when theres more talking and bs then working on the car its not for me
I like the show and the restorations our wonderful Marc is unbearable to watch he is abusive therefore I would never come into the show because he treats people like dogs. It may be scripted this way but it is a showstopper in my view
