Marcel Coenen formed Sytem Pilot with friends from his others bands like Lemur Voice, Sun Caged and Stormrider because many listeners asked him to do something from the 70's and 80's with a bit more rock sound instead of the harder metal he plays with Stormrider. And I tell you, this is my kind of Rock & Roll.Guaranteed, this group will become one of my favorites. The band members are all very skilled musicians with long years of band and stage experience. Some band members are well known from their other projects or bands like Up The Irons, Sustain, Sun Caged, Lemur Voice, Delphian and Stormrider. From the 2009 demo of System Pilot, featuring Marcel Coenen (Sun Caged/Stormrider) and Jos Severens (Up The Irons). No Video, just music, but it gives an impression of this cover band.

It's not the nasally voice, Steve Perry had his chords closing (actual head voice) this guy is using falsetto which I think sounds pretty good but obviously not as rich.
