It’s cool that you made the decision to never be ‘that person’. I did the same thing in nursing school when I had a floor nurse belittle me and almost make me cry! I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t ever treat anybody the way she did me but I have always kept that interaction and decision in the forefront of my mind, and when it’s been a long day and snapping at somebody would seem justifiable I’ve chosen patience and kindness. It’s not always easy but it’s the right thing to do!
