I love watching the faces of the other musicians in the background. They know how much talent and work it takes to do what Leo is doing and they are enjoying watching and being a part of the stellar preformance

Leo was made for entertaining. Amazing energy, moves like Jagger, Sax chops for decades, he's top notch for sure! He'll have his own Vegas show in no time!

What I love about Leo P is that he actually has chops. He's got the show and the go.
My parents are both jazz musicians and they were very harsh on barry players that were flashy without chops. If you only saw Leo P in a picture you'd be forgiven for a bit of eye roll, but they were suitably impressed.

Back in the day, entertainers used to “walk the bar.” Trumpet player Lee Morgan was often in bars “honking and stepping.” in the great tradition of "Walking the Bar" and"Honkers and Screamers" . Sax great Albert Ayler practiced walking the bar. In 1952, at the age of 16, Ayler began playing bar-walking, honking, R&B-style tenor with blues singer and harmonica player Little Walter, spending two summer vacations with Walter's band. In 1954, Coltrane’s, after moving back to Philadelphia, Coltrane was played with local R&B bands to make ends meet. In some of these bands, he honked away on the tenor while walking along the bar - it is great to see the Leo P keep the tradition alive and well.
