Chaos in Atrophy: Making of 'Wide Open, Horses'

In April 2023, acclaimed singer-songwriter James Vincent McMorrow embarked on a unique musical journey. He handpicked a group of talented musicians and presented them with a unique challenge: to learn and perfect brand new music they had never heard before in a very short space of time.
Given just two weeks to immerse themselves in the new material, the musicians dove into an intense period of practice and preparation. Following this, they had only five days to come together for rigorous rehearsals.
Through the culmination of their hard work, and with only a brief time to prepare, they delivered two sold-out performances at the prestigious National Concert Hall in Dublin, captivating audiences with their fresh interpretations and heartfelt performances.
Over the course of six months in 2023, cameras were given behind the scenes access to document the recording process of James' upcoming new album "Wide Open, Horses".
Filmed at Camden Recording Studio in Dublin and The Church Recording Studio in London, this behind-the-scenes journey offers a rare glimpse into the artistry and dedication behind the upcoming album.
