MY MIND IS BLOWN!!!!! I have been studying through Jeremiah and I have been IN AWE, Excited and joyful to be reading it. It's like every chapter I read I see nothing but Yeshua! I see nothing but Jesus!!! Everywhere! The Prophets truly spoke about Jesus before He even came!!! How did they MISS THIS!? I finished reading chapter 30 & 31 and I thought "Let me watch Pastor Paul speak on this" and I am 100% In agreement that I too believe that David will rule and reign during Messianic Kingdom! So cool!!!

Praise God for sending His servants our way! I, too, was overwhelmed by the OT. One thing is clear, the Scriptures are bottomless source of information, knowledge and revelation...and we sure won't be able to comprehend all of it in this life, since everytime we go over the already studied passage, there is always something new to be discovered. Excellent teaching Pastor...for some reason I never realised that the slaughter in Remah and Rachel's weeping came from the prophecy in Jeremiah hundreds of years before.
This stuff blows my mind daily !!!

Yes, I had to take breaks whilst reading Jeremiah because at times I have just cried, felt so sad, overwhelmed with grief and sorrow. Yet, God is so faithful even to the faithless... I am in awe of God.

Is there a reason not to take it literally…Read Luke 1:32 …Gabriel announced it…..He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
What about the Holocaust in WWII (1941 - 1945) and the Rebirth of Isreal Nations in 1948? I think the prophesy of Isreal and Judah walking to the promise land once again is connected here. Dual prophesy

Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
