By all definitions you are a wealthy man. The fact that you keep it all together and keep it going and growing. You have my respect. Thank you for all the content. God bless.

Yeah that's good... could kinda read he wasn't very happy but doing a good job at putting a better face on it there at the end. I know that feeling LOL:)
When I was a kid Dad was the "mechanic" that knew how to fix everything and set everything up, Grandpa was never very good at that so Dad did it for him from the time he was a boy basically. At one point Dad had Grandpa and my mom "helping" him farm, the idea was three machines going at once would really knock out some acres (sound familiar?) Well, that was until mom was turning around on some rented ground and centered the tractor on a guy wire going up a light pole and basically ran the tractor straight up the wire... it only stopped when the rear tires started power hopping because they were coming off the ground. She had the implement on the 3 point all the way up and it was buried in the dirt. She finally got her wits about her enough to pull the kill cable on the diesel engine shutdown cable. She tried to climb off the regular step and it was about four feet off the ground and she had to jump for it she couldn't think clearly. That was the last time she drove a tractor IIRC... I was about five. Dad told me years later that basically while they meant well, it didn't really help him all that much-- he said basically as soon as he'd get started with his tractor in the field, they'd have a problem and stop and come get him to stop and come fix it for them, or get it adjusted or whatever, then go back to work, and by that time the other one had a problem-- so he just basically bounced between fixing their problems and didn't get much else done himself.
I know EXACTLY how that felt because years later Dad was getting handicapped but wanted to still run a cotton picker, but he couldn't crawl down to actually fix or clean out anything to keep it going, so every time he had a problem he was on the radio calling me to come fix it. My little brother was on the other picker and he needed less help but still some when it was something he wasn't sure how to do, and so basically I just ran my butt off between hauling trailers to the gin, and fixing their problems... I never could really get on the tractor for any length of time and get anything done of my own...
Cest les vis... such is life I guess... just how it seems to work. At least Teresa is a hard worker and seems to do pretty well with it, and everybody can have a bad day... just tough when so many bad days come in short periods of time. OL J R :)

Something like a hog-ring around both sides of the spring coils is probably what you want, the broken part sill trail along with the shaft. I've a suspicion that lengths of 3/32 aircraft laced through each circle's coils and stuck through a cable bind might work very well and be very reuseable but it'd be hell getting it out of the blades if it fed through... XD Consider it a good thing they have the pick-up shields.
I'd pull the exhaust manifold all the way through to the tip of the pipe, looks like shit but I doubt its life has been shortened.

Worst he could do is engage the pto, but they're not working on that baler.

Every thought about CLAAS tractors they do sell them in North America the axoin model series built in Germany. the most powerful is 445hp axion 960.
You could approach the company and be a service dealer for them in the east of the country you got the space. They seemed reasonably priced the 850 model used £68,000
Maybe it's something to consider being a service or dealer agent is beneficial, could start an agricultural course teaching young boys girls
I think for the price you should consider the class top range and there's sold in North America parts wouldn't be a problem.

Wes we had the same problems with the camless mchale fusion balers. Broke most of the tines in a few mins once.they bought out a cheap mod to solve it and it works.take off all the bands and squeeze them in the video and the bottom back end.it leaves plenty of space for broken tines to drop down.i have broken 2 tines in two years since.can I send u a picture

I cringe every time I see that especially with the damn thing running and he is bouncing around in the cab.
It's the way I grew up on the farm and I can tell you first hand a boys curiosity is just an accident waiting to happen.

That tractor can not move without him pushing the clutch and sitting in the seat he is not tall enough nor heavy enough to get her moving.

@@onelonleyfarmer There is enough buttons levers and switches to keep him occupied. Still can remember the ass warping I got when I climbed up in the old mans semi and released the brakes when I was just a tad older than Will.

@@orsonwells7997 Yup had a little kid do that on my bus one time when I was driving school buses. We had to park in the middle of the busier highways and walk around the front of the bus to the middle line, to signal the kids at the stops on the LH side of the road when it was safe to come across and get on the bus, or walk from in front of the bus across the road to their driveway or street... Had this one stop that was a PITA, in an "S" curve with a blind curve at either end 1/4 mile apart and a creek bridge in the middle... SO I hurried as much as possible because it was a 55 mph highway and people zipped around the curve and couldn't see, particularly in early dark mornings and when foggy. One morning I'm walking in front of the bus and look around and wave the girl across (her Dad or mom always walked her to the bus stop anyway, but it was procedure so we had to follow it regardless) and as soon as I signaled her I heard "PSSSSSHHHHH-psssh" from the service brakes... I spun around and looked and saw the top of a little head dart back from my seat into the front seat... I was back around the corner and up the steps in about 2 seconds and I was like "What do you think you're doing?? Don't know you if you push the wrong button, you'd release the brakes and this thing will roll right back down the hill into the creek and kill everybody on this bus including you?? (Yep I was trying to put the scare in 'em!) Well, we'll see you in the principals office as soon as we get to school!" I wrote him up as soon as I got back and hand delivered it... Kid was off the bus for the YEAR by the end of the day... Bet Momma LOVED having to drive him 10 miles into town every day and come pick him up in the evening...
      Later! OL J R : )

Do they make poly bands for Krone balers or do they not work on high speed camless pickups? I know we run them and have zero issues with bent bands causing premature wear on times.
