It’s a shame Walmart is charging so much ch more than the $3 each Dollar Tree charged.
Also, as a professional house keeper, don't use vinegar on stainless steel. It will eventually eat away at the finish. Soap and water to clean it and if you don't have stainless steel polish, a little cooking oil on a microfiber rag, then buffed with a paper towel makes it shine

Better yet, re-use dryer sheets (like Bounce) to clean / polish your chrome, stainless steel in the kitchen / bathroom. Works great on Bathroom faucets!

Hi Shannon! We have the same refrigerator, with that narrow freezer! I screamed "genius" when I saw you stacking those meats in those sterilite bins. It makes me so mad when I'd have to bend sideways, having to take everything out to grab one package! Thank you for the extra push to get to clean and organize my refrigerator and freezer! I used to have a side by side fridge, it was not as functional as I hoped it would be. After down sizing, I have a small refrigerator with an equally small top freezer. I frequently make soup and freeze it in qt. size bags, I lay them flat on a cookie sheet until they freeze, then stack them upright like books. I recently bought puck lights for my closet and plan to buy some for my pantry. My pantry is small with shelves on one side. I got a wire shelve unit for the other side and doubled my storage space. I can hang my plastic bags bag, and whatever else on the side with S hooks. I’m so pleased with how it turned out. Purged, cleaned and reorganized the whole space. Tomorrow I plan to do the last bottom shelf on the other side. It holds all kinds of things that just came when I moved here and some cleaning supplies that I don’t care for. I think I can do wonders with a good purge. Cleaning and organizing things gives me such satisfaction, however getting on the floor to tackle this space will be a challenge. I always say, if I get down on the floor, I better have a real good plan how to get up!
Where I live in MN, we have county wide "hazardous waste" drop off sites that accept cleaning supplies as well as used batteries, paint, lightbulbs, etc. Maybe you haven't dealt with the cleaners yet so I thought I'd recommend you seek out such a place where you live.
I love to stop there before shopping so I can try out something before I buy it. The site only requires your ID and will gift their donations for free. It is great for folks starting out either a home or a small business (think furniture rehab, house flipping, house cleaners, etc.). A win-win. And it keeps the chemicals out of the landfill (so a 3rd win)!

I have a big house but a small kitchen. So I always watch vids that address the storage needs and hacks in a small kitchen and our fridge is great but it’s kind of small because that’s all the space we have to fit a newer model fridge so your ideas are welcome and helpful. Thanks Shannon ❤

One thing I've considered doing, to reduce containers and to keep track of things I keep on the regular. Use the containers to act as my grocery list. So first you take everything out. Next you put all the items in uniform containers that hold as much as you will ever have on hand (so a butter container that hold a pound, not a quarter pound). Then transfer all the items to their new containers that maximize the fridge space (like Shannon has done with her pantry staples). As things get used up, clean the container and put it back in the fridge. When grocery day comes, go to the fridge and note your empties. For example, I always have celery, carrots lettuce in the fridge in certain containers so if one is empty I'll know I need to buy what it contains. Same goes for frozen peas, corn, chopped peppers which are stored in the freezer. Using containers this way I will not run out of space for the things I always keep and I'll know if I have room for that special item (I'm looking at you, Thanksgiving Turkey!)
What do you think? Is this over the top? We do this if we eat eggs or orange juice made from concentrate, so why not do it with all the standard refrigerator/freezer items kept for meal prep? LMK what you think. TIA

You could also put a dab of hot glue to cover the ends of those screws coming up from underneath.

I have been using the place mats for several years in my refrigerator shelves I also cut them to fit the shelves in the refrigerator door. I like to line the shelves in my cabinets also in stead of using liner love watching your videos

Instead of screws going in so deep into your upper cabinet. Grab a few wooden rulers or a small wooden rectangle sign in craft section at dollar tree and cut down to size, with a carpet knife. Position the wood between the mug holder and cabinet. You may need 2 prices but it will help with the screw sharp end from being much of a problem.

When my bananas look completely brown they taste like banana wine and go into the trash! Loving the mug rack!! Hammer the point of the screws down so it’s no longer sharp and cover with a bandaid. It works great!!

You have the spoon rest backward. The larger side is for the spoon, and the smaller side is for the lid. Nice tips. Containers for storing meat.... priceless.

Hi Shannon! I have a question
Have you ever tried using actual wallpaper to line shelves/drawers? Not in the fridge just cabinets. I don't plan to paste it down, just use it to act as a barrier between the wood and the items I'm storing. I got it on a bargain of $3 for a whole roll and can likely cover every shelf and drawer in my duplex. TIA!

What do you mix for an everyday cleaner? I thought you said in another video but I've watched it again and can't find it. So maybe it was a different video. But if you could please let me know? New to your channel and really enjoying it. I have a small 3bdr rental and have only closets in the bedrooms! I do have a storage cabinet in the bathroom but I'm already utilizing it as much as I can. And the sink is like a free standing sink, no counter top or cabinet under. Its so hard to store everything. Im now going to line all my cabinets in the kitchen and clean under the kitchen sink, thank you 😊
Erika I fill a bottle with a bit of room at the top with filtered water, add about 1/2 t dish soap and 6-10 drops essential oil. That’s it!! Thanks for watching!
