even 20 years later - this is one of the most amazing pieces of clean, crisp and well-structured electronica that I have experienced. Greatness is enduring.
Meg Mude Get yourself Tranceport by Paul Oakenfold. One of top five albums ever made.
@@justinhollen please list another 4 album 1 2 3 4
@@teenarok Sasha & John Digweed: Northern Exposure Expeditions is a must have in my humble opinion
This album, from this era (pre EDM), helped me become a millionaire. This sh*t is incredible.
That last track is a deep state of triumph😊
Words can not do justice when describing this music and the feelings it conjures up. Those of us who know, simply know there is no substitute. "are u going to see Oakenfold? Are you going to the club?"
what a fucking sample! 😆😆😀 so hot-- soooo perfectly atmospheric from start to finish.
Best trance ever produced. Saw him live in Dallas right after this came out. Best Empathy experience I have ever had.
Greatest album ever. I'm a metal head and this is what got me into this beautiful art work.
\m/ real "metal head" myself as well . But nothing commercialized. I'm very different when it comes to my music. Takes slot to impress me and to keep/hold my attention. This album if only if you knew lol . Beauty from within and so? Sorry I can't word it out right now but it's wicked good especially if you were clubbing back then when it was hitting hard! 😎🤘🥳🥳🥳 I'm a female. Most of my friends I had from the tight little circle click are unfortunately dead and has been for years. Somehow I m as de it out of th e underground club scene. People still assume and think I'm 22 to 26 ye as yrs old now. But that was my age back then w all the power if u get my drift. I'm 47 yrs old now lol. But 22 to 26 sure I'll take that anytime lmao. Also metal head community is a very tight one. I know quite a bit of professional world known bands etc. I miss opeth. Especially the older tones. But I respect them. Mike and the gang \m/ HAILS paul oakenfold and metal heads 🤘😎🤘
Please never let this be taken down, keep it posted for all time, so that the next generation (s) can hear what a masterpiece is supposed to sound like.
Airtight was legendary and is still legendary. Still listening going into 2020. I know it’s originally Max Graham but Paul Oakenfold mixing the right tunes just makes him a legendary DJ. Ever since Tranceport, I’ve been a fan. But like most of the Trance DJs they have seem to have lost their edge now.
This is a masterpiece. Innovative, incredibly danceable, dreamy, emotional, pumping, spacey, almost otherworldly at times. Brings me back to my early 20’s in NYC, sitting in a dim room and coasting along with this mix from start to finish, feeling like I had nothing but life ahead of me. Max Graham, the jaw dropping Dead Can Dance interlude, the Zeppelin mix, and that’s scratching the surface. This just transports me to a different universe. Sublime.
Hell yeah
Old skool electrinica still holds time💫🙌
I listened to this almost every night going to sleep in my university years in the early 2000’s. Very happy to find such a good copy after loosing the original cd’s after many moves over the years.
So happy to find this, thank you poster and thank you internet.
This Album , and most Oakenfolds earlier projects stay in rotation for me . Discovered him when I was a teenager and I have so many fond memories listening to this on road trips and life in general. Have yet to find a consistent mix of music that gives me the same feeling .
Album like that make intro in electronic music was on 2000 or even before. I'm on 52yr & still kicking, thanks a lot Paul. You make open a door thousands people ❤❤❤
I keep coming back to this mix... air tight, bullet in the gun, no way out, and of course, pile driver. This album is everything!!
The Godfather at his finest...
so so amazing this album..... When I was young I use to take MDMA hearing this album and going to run or dancing in my room alone or even went to the gym on ecstasy, now im almost 40 and really really still made me the same Wonderfull feelings this superb album, the for sharing dude :)
Haha you could be me and I could be you
🙋♂️😆😁😀
Wold give almost anything to go back, back to my 20s and the days of mdma,
Man those were good times,
40s are not the same
95 to 05 produced some of the best house with the progressive movement........so many great beats, deep harmonies and so much driving bass.
The last song to this album always gets me in that feel. That one is just perfect what a beauty this era was for electronic music glad to have been a part of that. Still to this day it sounds like when I first heard it. Thank you 🙏 Paul oakenfold for all these years of great music 🎶
In love then, in love now... his best by far.
This album got me into Electronic Music. Back in 2000
One of the most epic mixes of all time and to know that it ends with an epic climax of Amoeba Assassins Piledriver is truly Oakenfolds best and most memorable compilation!
Absolutely amazing album! i will for ever enjoy this and really hope it never gets removed. my heart would break...i kid you not! dont know how this could have have even 1 thumb down. As fabulous as the first time i heard it on cd. Ha love it!
The first time I ever rolled, Oakenfold was spinning. Best time ever.
I had this cd playing while giving birth to my son 2002
Thanks to life for a Paul Oakenfold, and thanks to Paul for this great set, full of energy, emotion! Introspection and party🤯💞🤯💞🤯💞
WE WILL NEVER FORGET THIS TIME IN OUR LIVES!!! IF YOU KNOW, YA KNOW!!!⚡ 💯
This was the music that got me into EDM about 20 years ago (I feel old). I remember feeling like I had found a hidden jackpot of golden dreams through music. I didn't know a single person in school who was about trance or anything EDM related. This was one of my hidden gems that I just loved through and through. Music now is so saturated that for every great song (like ones from this compilation), there will be 1,000 pieces of uninspired garbage today.
I always say it’s odd when we were young no one I knew desired or cared to listen to “electronic music” when I presented it to them . Flash forward and EDM is at huge festival events and influencing music of all genres.
for many, the euphoria first happens when--as if slipping into an alternate dimension--the era-defining vocals of lisa gerrard vibrate into existence, bringing an altogether-shocking and utterly-relieving dose of humanity, trapped deep in outer space.
This is a perfect album. Timeless.
Reminds me of my extacy days 20yrs ago! When I listen now I can't help think of how crazy this album would be with dmt🤤I'm loosing it at almost 40😂😂😂🎶
freeNOTfree me too I'm right there with you, I turn 38 on 9/3 and I've been obsessing about those days - pink butterflies, triple stack sailor moon, white doves, blue Dolphins, blue b29s, pink elephants, triple stack Mitsubishis - Amirite?? 💜💜
Exactly 20 years ago for me, I call it the x days
I listened to the song at 1hr 5min on the way to my childhood friends wake 😕. Still gets me when i hear it.
Oakey is the man for the big occasions....20 years ago when Creamfields was the biggest gig in town. There was one headliner that they all shouted the loudest for.
New Orleans - State Palace Theater here. I remember a few we'd go batshit for. Sasha & Digweed was pretty serious, Rabbit In the Moon, but man...Deiselboy always knew how to throw down.
The Drum and Bass equivalent to this album/set is Dieselboy's Dungeonmaster's Guide. Circa '04, probably. Give it a spin. It's a wild ride. Cheers!
2021! Still listening 😎😎😎
The art is this video is so outstanding.
Thanks to whoever put this together.
STILL ONE OF THE MOST EPIC sounds...
Your beautiful Meg
timeless mix
"She told me how she came to be..."
I thought it said how she came into being?
and at 41:02 the album gets the listener moved completely outside the Milky Way... Brancaccio & Aisher "Darker" is just out of this galaxy... chills on my spine every single time since I heard the CD in 2000.... EVERY... SINGLE... TIME.
Chilled Eskimos - Take Me Away (Circulation Mix)
Still listen to this album
This was the very first trance/house album i listened to. I was a Freshmen at Cal State Fullerton and my roommate was a house head from Norcal and he had this record (he was a DJ too) and wow i fell lin love. 17 years later and i still get the same chills!!!!!
God I still love this mix so much since after it released. Paul you da man was great seeing you in Vegas a few times
Ahh wow...how i loved this album. Came out in 2000? I know thats the progressive trance was heavily played. Its a timeless classic. The film Bladerunner(1982) clip was from the great last scene....
FLAWLESS!!
Absolute perfection - Paul still stands alone. The pioneer of Trance and the ultimate mixer. This kind of talent can't be taught..... in goes much deeper.
Starting track of DCD’s “Seraphim” sets the tone of what’s to come.
1997 -2021 still
And forever will be my ultimate favorite 🤩💙🌈
Is really good album reminds me Space downtown Miami after hours such a great memories
Hallelujah!
Thank you so much! This was one of my favorite cds. That last track gets me every time

One of the greatest shows I've ever seen he spun some of the set at the red zone Columbus Ohio 1998 it was great disc one and disc 2 has been my favorite since I don't know how long it was literally played at my wedding the blade runner set was played at my wedding
Thank you so much for adding this on Mike!
Gratos recuerdos de este álbum
#gorgeous no words🌌
Well done. Thank you. Perfect music to incorporate to Mario Cart with my four children.
This is a work of art
I think this is best mix he has put out, it was like a new Goa mix for the 2000s
@Alright Alright Alright x2 👍🏻
41:02 Woke up with this song in my head this morning...Its been a while since ive heard it.
Fkn Amazing!! 1 & 2….oakenfold knows his shit
I have a love/hate relationship with Oakenfold, he went a bit too mainstream for me. However, to this day, this is one of my favourite electronic albums of all time (amongst the hundreds of GU, Fabric, Tresor, Renaissance, et al. I've had the pleasure of listening to). For me, it connects deeply with a time and place - first time living overseas in Europe (Vienna); short days, long dark nights, tuning in, watching the world rush around me, pre-9/11, not a care in the world. A masterpiece esp. for its time. I think it brought a lot of people into electronic music, and it still leaves its mark 20yrs on. Thanks for posting online!
The opening, and tracks 9-12... phenomenal
Hey man, greetings from a viennese living in seattle area.
Remember those great after hours in Vienna in the 90ties.
Tshuess, don't even know if I spelled that correctly
