Interesting to see what the early Sesame Street shows looked like in color. I grew up with black and white TV. I was about to enter my senior year of high school -- summer 1980 -- when my dad bought his first color TV set.
Throughout the fundings commercials I remembered seeing a young Ski Jackson everywhere before I seen her in Disney channel, that was when I was just about to enter elementary to middle school in the late 2000s/early 2010s. It just takes me back.

I think that variant of the theme for nighttime (usually if not only or always on Friday) episodes got replaced by the alternate sequence with shots around the city at night in 1987 (around when Unitel Video started taping the show).

Is the Corporation for Public Broadcasting in the beginning and the end of the Sesame Street Season 31 Episodes in 2001 and Public Television Stations and their contributors at the end of Sesame Street: 3647 in 1998?
Which season was it that they switched the PBS logo shown after the credits from the Everyman to the well known P Head one? I noticed that the 85 and 86 season closes were pulled from more recent prints that plastered over those logos, so my hope in knowing when exactly they switched to the P Head logo from the Everyman one was lost. They introduced the logo in 84, but I wonder if they switched all the shows to play the new logo animation at the same time or did they gradually phase it in. If the latter, there is a chance that the 85 season still played the Everyman logo at the time. Unless I'm mistaken about the PBS logo being shown was shown a closing logo for each show or something similar to what the big three did in between shows. For some reason, I always thought the PBS logo was shown as a closing logo for each show. Not sure why.
