This took much longer than expected because of work and being sick, but also because I’ve been working on my first animation with Geno at the same time! I should be finished with it soon, I’m so excited! Super Mario RPG is such a blast!! I can’t believe I haven’t played it until a few weeks ago. I’d known about Geno, Mallow, Smithy and the extremely general Star Road story for years, but I really didn’t have much of a clue otherwise. And playing a fantastic Mario RPG game completely blind all these years after not having any (aside from Origami King a few years ago) was a breath of fresh air!
I am not a fan of my current rigging system for his cape, which consists entirely of IK chains all the way around and one master rotation controller bone, but I’m still on the hunt for a better method for rigging capes overall. XD They’re my nemesis right now, since I need them for rigging Dimentio and Jevil too, haha, but I’ve found a way to make do.
