Well, that's for the boy's point of view especially for the Korean guy. The Japanese, their culture is for the male most of the time. Anime, AV, figures like AKB48 The entertainment industry in general. For the girls, attraction of Japan is all about the food and cute little stuffs and the most crucial part is the resonable exchange rate of ¥ right now. Relatively cheap.
And the politician part of Japan is like....Eh... yeah they are truly unforgivable and wrong beyond words. I know.

I was born in Korea but mostly lived in the US but I moved to Korea for a few years until 2020. I seen many more japanese come to seoul compared to in the 90s. Ichon in seoul is a small japanesetown in Korea. I subscribe to jinu (박진우) youtuber who's in japan, meeting random people, I was surprised how many japanese can speak some korean.
Koreans are known to be blunt, frank, brutally honest. But now I live in germany... the Germans always speak their minds with no regards to feelings even more than koreans. I don't see it as good or bad, just their culture.

-Are you an otaku?
-Japan has good technology
-Isn't there a lot of radiation in Japan?
-Just no idea
-Unique fashion
-Difficult-to-understand hairstyles
-Beautiful traditional culture
-A mecca of animation
-War crimes of the past
-They are short
-I want to travel there

Young people tend to be similar to Japanese and Koreans in terms of global culture, but older people seem to have a large political and historical gap. Just as there was anti-Korean sentiment in Japan in the past, there has been a strong anti-Chinese sentiment in Korea recently. Personally, I hate North Korea and China Government(but not people). Without human rights, we can't go out with friends who are unilaterally brainwashed.
Acutually, every government dose the same thing of brain washing. In Chinese perspective, Japanese government are also brainwashing young people especially on histroy and selfidentity.

I am from KOREA, and I LIKE Japan too :) People are so kind and humble. Most of Korean like Janpanse foods as well, and so many Korean is going to trip to Japan as you guys know. Also so many Japanse is coming to Korea for a trip.
Japanese culture is very interesting and streets are all clean. There are many travel spots. Korea and Japan are the closest countries, so I hope both countries keep having good relationship regardless of the political situation. Let's not hate each other only due to such political issues. Let politicians care about such political issues. Actually this is the thought of most of Korean. I know some Japanese hates Korea too, but I do not care about them, because they are not majority of Japanese people. I believe most of Japanese also like Korea as a neighbor just like this video. 현재 유행하는 문화 안에서는 상당히 많은 부분에서 일본이 한국을 따라한다고 생각할 수도 있지만,
결국 시대에 따라 서로 영향을 주고 받는 것이지,
어느 한쪽을 무시하거나 비난할 이유는 아니라고 생각합니다.

한국에도 수많은 사람들이 있고 각자 다른 관점을 가지고 있듯,

They didn't even see Asian men as men. Asia only got a good image because of Korea. However, Korea suffered a lot because of the image of China or Japan. In the West, if you like Japan or Japanese things, you're considered minor and unusual, and you get bullied. So, when Korea was just starting to become popular, there were many Westerners who laughed at it by linking it with Japan. Now, the trend in Korea has become very big and popular, and Asia has also shed its minor image. You can easily listen to K-pop in supermarkets and streets in the US

Very interesting because for Americans at least White Americans like me we always see Japan and Korea as extremely similar cultures but in reality they are pretty different and the people are very different.
But many Japanese came to South Korea to become an idol. Like Sana Twice, Momo Twice, Sakura Le Serafim, and many more.

That's a cruel way to think about nowday people of race that did harm many years ago. I live in the Netherlands and most of us have a grudge against German. Mostly due WW2 and tourism afterwards. If a tragic struck them, no matter how blunt, judgemental or rude we can be, we will never be glad if they die by it. Somehow we have some feelings and humanity in us to feel bad for them.

My Japanese friends even tells me that the Japanese now always follow trends in Korea and anything Korean related sells well to the Japanese especially food, clothing, kpop and kdrama merch, and beauty products. Also when it comes to culture, Korea has had the most influence on Japan becauss ancient Korea was instrumental in giving Japan the roots of the culture it has today. 한국이 그럼 일본 따라한게 하나도 없음? 제 전공이 만화인데 한국 만화사만 제대로 공부해봐도 한국이 일본을 따라한게 일본이 한국을 따른 것보다 훠어어어어얼씬 많았어요.
대중음악이나 영화, 드라마 같은 곳도 거의 마찬가지겠죠. 물론 일본이 한국의 영향을 받은 것도 찾으면 없진 않갰지만 그 비중을 서로 따져보면 거의 미미하겠죠.
근데 논쟁의 중점은 현재임 인터뷰한 일본사람이 현재진행형으로 말했듯이 지금은 대중가요는 kpop, 드라마는 ott 협업 또는 인지도 높은 작가를 앞세워서, 만화는 웹툰이 특히 발달하고 한국영화는 영화 좋아하는 사람으로서 존나 마음에 안들지만 신파, 조직액션물이라도 내세우면서 자리를 잡음
시장이 커지고 수입이 크면 그게 만화 시장이든 아이돌 시장이든 오아시스가 되는거임
옛날에는 일본의 만화를 우리가 따라했고 현재는 동남아시아 국가나 일본의 xg 그룹에게 아이돌 표본이자 기준이 되어주고 있음
인터뷰어도 대답한 사람도 딱히 현재에 국한해서 말 안 했는데요. 영상 다시 보시길. 한 60년동안 베끼던 나라가 10년 정도 안 베끼기 시작했다고 우린 베낀 적 없다, 너희들이 베꼈다 이런 식으로 나오면 일본인으로선 당연히 어이가 없을 만하다고 생각합니다.
한국도 일본도 관용과 용서를 알고 자존심을 내려놓고 스스로를 되돌아볼수 있는 지성인이 되었으면 합니다.

Ну и планы Японии, необоснованные претензии на Сахалин и Курилы не добавляют особой любви. Сами жители ,вероятно, вполне обычные люди. Всякие,как и везде. Вакканай отлично виден из Корсакова. Японцы сами жили на Сахалине какое-то время. Поэтому наши родители иногда знают три языка: корейский,японский и русский. Семьи японские жили рядом. Знаю, чтотдети друг жруга понимали, но говорить на японском было нельзя. Потом,конечно, уехали. Японские постройки до сих пор остались, люди делали все на совесть. Японцы своих забрали, в отличие от Кореи. Корея просто кинула. Даже сейчас она возвращает лишь часть. И семьи по сути опять разорваны. Поэтому мои двоюродные сестры забрали назад свою мать на Сахалин. Дом престарелых произвел на меня такое гнетущее впечатление в Корее, не дай,Бог, туда попасть..Мы в России живем лучше, даже в условиях санкций.
