  • Horseback archery in Inari Finland. Our horses have no bits and are bare foot. Tinja is riding without saddle, just with a sheep skin. There are no limits. Tinja and Alex are riding Islandic horses Kongur and Grim and our friend Anna Minkkinen is riding our Norwegian fjording Paroni

    Wow, just wow. Those horses are gorgeous and your all so talented. I would love to learn how to combine 2 of my favourite things. Honestly can't think of a better way to clear mind and feel true freedom then to ride thru a forest on a horse with friends shooting a bow. Thank you for sharing this with us.

    I had often wondered about mounted Archery in wood lands. Now I know. Love those Horses too...and the rapport between them and the Bow People and the riding skill.
    There is quite the history behind all this.

      Where are you? Horse archery USA is a pretty good organization. The clinics run about $75 if I remember. The great thing is it’s not a breed specific sport. Also people from several disciplines practice it. I’m eagerly anticipating the day I return to equestrianism, and mounted archery.

    • @carina-nonbinary
      @carina-nonbinary Před 2 lety +3

      There aren't many different types of bows for horseback archery, they're all quite the same. The bow should be made specifically foe horseback riding as they aren't as big as usual bows and can be used with both hands
