- Casey rescues a young couple after a massive car accident. The lady is about to give birth, and Dawson won't be able to help him.
Season 01, Episode 07:
Everyone in the firehouse is ordered to take a drug test after a call to a daycare center exposes them to a makeshift meth lab, and Severide (Taylor Kinney) stalls, not wanting his injury, or the painkillers he takes, to be discovered. Meanwhile, Truck and Squad find themselves pinned down by gunfire while trying to help the victim of a gang shooting, and a deep-fried turkey fire grows from small to explosive when a garage catches fire.

Those few seconds of silence when the baby was not crying was the most heart stopping moment I seen
The emotional roller coaster when a delivered baby doesn't cry and then they save him/her and it finally cries. It's like you go from a spike of nervousness to deep relief in seconds.
I was born without a heartbeat in my own house, the docter just ran to the shower with me in his arms, not saying anything to my parents, he got my heartbeat back on with hot water and chest comprasions,

It's just so nice to see dawson amd shay and all the firefighters just being there for people, helping then and saving theor lives, multitasking not thinking about themselves and just selflessly trying to save people's lives.

This must be one of the most amazing things that can happen at this job. Firefighters must seen some horrible things, but then a moment like this happens and it all comes together, the reason why they do what they do. Incredible!

If you watch the show or clips here on CZcams of House M.D you'll get to see his actor play a doctor. He acts about the same in that show too
I have seen a lot a scenarios they show on that serie, some of them can be not real but I have learned many things on what should be done or not on some very difficult situations (I really hope I never get on one of them). Any ways, firefighters and paramedics have my admiration and respect.
The baby be having a story to tell when older
My first two didn't cry at birth. One sneezed. The other was purple. Both were busy moving their heads around to look around at the wider world. #3 cried, until presented with nipple. Hasn't stopped eating in 15 years 🤣
