  • OK something a little different for you guys and girls. A super fun task that gives great results. The single piece rose or the Russian rose. Ian Lowe gave me the idea for this video and I think you should check out his video as well. I will be showing you how to forge a single piece rose. This makes for a great blacksmithing project and a get beginner project.

I've lost track of how many of these I have made and sold in the past 20 years...a great seller at the small shows I attend.

Roy also has a video where he makes one of these. I will ask you the same question I asked him. What about reversing that process so you do the smaller leaves on the interior and you don't have to do a step down or a bend for the stem to be in the central part of the base of the Rose.

The first one of those I've ever seen made was Roy Adams. You made that look way too easy. Lol👍🍺

..Very Fan-Dan-Tastic!! I got to give this a try. I went to Ian's channel and subscribed so he owes you. Would putting some cross pein marks on the edge before rolling it up cause the edge to become to fragile. Cold shuts, cracking and such...??
