it’s a good plan! a little bit far from the main promenade (about 10 minute walk) but worth it for the quiet

Wow, what a video! It felf like I was watching a movie. "Envying" your splash in those crystal clear waters haha. Hope your next video will be in Saranda downtown. They've made a new promenade along the beach there and have a "xhiro" like in Pogradec. If you crave for Albanian traditional food, Beqos Restarurant is good. Been to Saranda many times. My family own a couple of apts there which we have decided to sell. My grandfather built about 200 houses before WWII for the Cam (Tcam) population that had come from Greece. Was in Saranda in 1983. Much different looking town with pines forest over the town back then. Have fun.

I was at this exact hotel a few years ago it’s so random that I came across this video. I don’t think it had a private beach back then but the room felt like an Airbnb. Cool video, have fun there.

Bougainvillea wasn't my favorite lol. Beautiful but the layout was confusing and the service was lacking .

Was in saranda the other day! Absolutely loved it ! What a feeling ! Go check out ksamil as well ! I suggest you visit the promenade along the coast (it’s kind of hidden )! Surreal !

James, yes Albania isn't known for being a rich country,but goodness me, the potential tho,,,,,,you know,
I still think is overlooked, enjoy for as long as you can,maybe one day if you ever gonna decide to go back to your home country, I mean this journey, those beautiful videos you have shared with the world, are gonna live with you for the rest of your life,and you will always feel emotional about ALBANIA, thank you for your kindness, all the best.

Sarandë, the Albanian city where the the whole of Europe comes together (or is it the Albanian diaspora?) in the high season. Never seen so many different license plates then over there. Serbian next to Kosovarian, (North-)Macedonian next to Greek... why not? In 2016 we stayed at Hotel Brilant, in 2018 at Bougainville Bay.
In the high season the city is very crowded, very busy and very touristic but you could have a great time over there. And interesting sights around the city, Sarandë is the ideal place if you want to go to Butrint.
