It was news to me that Prussia had anti-aircraft guns in the Franco-Prussian war of 1870. Impressive - 33 years before the first airplane! 😊
They used balloons, both for recognition and bombardment
@@irispaivalol but Prussia aka Krupp co did not invent anything near an “anti-aircraft gun”. If anything it was the french Mitrailleuse gun that was closer to an anti-aircraft gun. And they didnt use it to shoot down balloons. So this is still completely off
No mention of Mughal empire or Russian Empire? Both were very powerful at their height. Why isn't the British empire shown at it's territorial height? You seemed to have skipped it's territories in Africa, some of Asian territories, and the middle east. Britain ruled a third of Africa's population as well as it's most geo strategically important territories and had a dominant role in the Middle East. Also, the most powerful state in history, the USA after WW2 is somehow not mentioned lol.
The empire on which the sun never sets in the 21st century is the biggest joke 🤣
Yeah I was thinking the same thing
Crude oversimplification that are dangerous and cause misconceptions about the complex history of humanity.
Love the animation, but a bit more work on the script/research is needed.
The last part was um shall we say “glossed over”
Great one dude!
What about Rashidun and Umayyad chaliphate
Really well made
The title of this offering is “The Biggest Empires” but only the Persian and Macedonian Empires are actually shown at their most expansive territorial extent which is what the title claimed this would be about. You show the expansion of the British Empire and talk about it being the biggest ever but cut off that expansion before it extends into Africa where it eventually colonizes 40% of that continent along with multiple areas is Southeast Asia that got left out. According to this video Napoleon only managed to conquer Luxembourg, Netherlands, Belgium and a little bit of Italy. What about Spain? All of its South American colonies broke away during the Napoleonic Wars because Spain was too busy being occupied by French troops. He made his brother the King of Italy, renamed Switzerland, disbanded the Holy Roman Empire and reorganized its territories into far fewer states/principalities etc which they kept after his defeat and even carved the Duchy of Warsaw off of the far end of Prussia. But according to your map he only managed to occupy the smallest neighbors along France’s eastern border.
I’m not trying to troll you. I like your graphics but it’s important to get your facts right. Viewer of this kind of material tend to know a lot about the subject matter already and will eat you alive if you don’t get the details right - especially when the details are the size of entire countries.
There’s difference between literal political borders and spheres of influence; to claim Spain as a part of Napoleonic France in the political sense is inaccurate.
@@subashira part of spain, and definitely not that small
No. The British was not the biggest. Only if you count land but not oceans which have much more value than wastelands. Type in "the British empire was not the biggest."
@@user-qd4td7yb8e This has to be the stupidest shit I’ve ever seen.
nice! thanks
I love this video. It was well arranged
Underrated channel
bro wtf. why does this guy only got 109 subscribers? This content feels really good. Your on a fast way to 1k subs I bet!
Maybe becasue the channel is pretty new?
@@joninator7858 I know...
@@mrthyme7100 So why ask questions that you know the answer to?
@@joninator7858 I mean the videos he's making are getting about 1000 views. I'm surprised that they don't have more.
@@mrthyme7100 I mean if you compare his views with his subs then it's not really that bad. Besides the channel is still young and will grow
The incorrect borders are giving me anxiety lol

U forgot the timurid Empire which was the strongest country in the 14th century
And the Germans did not cause ww1 it was Austria-Hungary who caused ww1 by attacking Serbia
There is no mention of Russia and Soviet union but it's generally comprehensive
How does this have so little likes, its amazingly made
eh, a lot of stuff was missed entirely and most of the information wasn't very detailed
Why so little views??? You are going to get your flowers soon enough
No mention of the most wealthiest and most powerful states to have existed: Mauryan Empire, Gupta Empire, Kushan Empire, Pala Empire, Chola Empire, Rashtrakuta Empire, Mughal Empire, Pratihara Empire, Han Empire, Tang Empire, Song Empire, Ming Empire, Khmer Empire, Abbasid Empire, Safavid Empire, Sassanid Empire, Srivijaya Empire, Majapahit Empire,
The outside world doesn't teach Indian history in their book otherwise all technology loots and scientific loots will come out. Mauryas army was bigger than the Romans population.
💀 🤓
Thanks for naming all the Indian and Muslim empires but this guy didn’t even show how Britain had colonized a third of the African continent
You should carefully study the history of the Mongol empire before making a map video, otherwise this will be like a video distorting history.
👍👍👍
Forgotten Most Powerful States: Hittite Empire, Assyrian Empire, Sassanid Empire, Gupta Empire, Gokturk Khanate, Tang China, Mughal Empire, Russian Empire.
Bro why do say *at its peak* and dont show the peak of the empire on the screen bro
I'm waiting for Indian to blabbering about their "Largest Empire in the History"
4:31 correction, TESTUDO not TETSUDO..
12:34 You forgot South Africa was a part of the British Empire.
Forgetting the first global empire Portugal (not Spain) 😂😂
History is history but teach how to improve young generation positively peaceful ispiritualy and economy respect riligion traditionally love2x our mother earth
What do you mean destroy the Spartans? Quite the opposite happened actually... In battle of Thermopylae, the persians suffered great loses due to Spartans insane resistance... Despite Greek defeat at that battle, significantly delaying Persians to reach the gate of Athens. This delay later contributed to Greece's victory against Persian at the naval battle of Salamina
the way he says phoniecian 😂😂
The richest man in history was Mansa Musa, Emperor of Mali
No it was Genkhis Khan because he ruled asia and middle east(which didnt got shown in this video)
There WAS no 'Palestine' when Egypt 'conquered' the Levant. Historical accuracy is so important these days, don't you think?
Mongol Empire State building a empire
And had a colonial empire that was huge
Wer is the Philippines empire
Where is the umyyad empire ? Moroccan almoravides ? saadians empire ? you don't know about these or you wanted intentionnaly to ignore ...
how can u talk about spain and not Portugal? Portugal started the descobriments, we had one of the biggest empires in the world
Why didn’t you put the Illyrian empire. Isn’t Illyria a powerful empire
Making a video about great empire in world history but mainly focus on the west😂 classic !! No sub for me
Finland 105.5 years old ?
Independent, yes.
Before that, it was always someone else's territory.
@@dimushka383 Orcs don't count. If you're going to trespass on an American site, you need to learn how to speak English first.
The title is wrong it’s the British empire and most powerful is your opinion
Well, it was the largest in history
False, at its peak, in 1922, the British Empire was 33,700,000km2. While the Mongol Empire at its peak, around 1290, was 36,500,000km2.
It was power full and influence you are speaking their language. Not mangolian
No mention to the Portuguese empire, and full of errors! Get your facts straight.
Maurya Empire??? Chola Empire???
France had a lot more land in Europe Africa Asia and North america
But at least they showed France. And the third largest empire simply did not appear in the video.
Why no Russian Empire? It was the third largest empire in history and at its bright was among the strongest European nations?
nah idk the Russian Empires Military wasn't so strong. They just had a lot of population for military, not really good technology or tactics.
Nobody cares about orcs now. You people are isolated from the civilized world.

The masciantonio empire is Greek
Where are the muslim caliphates?
This video is very bad👎🏻👎🏻. You’ve oversimplified it to the point where you’re wrong. Too many empires have been left out. You also stated that the Mongol Empire was the 2nd empire in history which makes zero sense.
whats with all the weird pronounciations
Persian Empire is the greatest and the largest empire in the world so far. Achaemenid Empire in 480 B.C. Also known as the Persian Empire, that 44% of the world was persian and from the Achaemenid throne in what is now modern-day Iran, making it history's largest empire
PERSIAN EMPIRE (480 B.C) -- 44%
Qing dynasty (1800) - 37%
Northern Song Dynasty (1100) - 33%
Western Han Dynasty (1) - 32%
Mongol Empire (1290) - 31%

The biggest empire in the world is not even on atlas because persians never change the name of the city the conquered they let you have your freedom and religious practices. So the truth is persian empire at its biggest was 96% but that is ok you guys are staring to see the truth.
Title "History according to colonizer"
All empires colonize. It's practically a requirement. We get the word itself from Rome, a heavily colonizing empire.
There was no place called Palestine in 1500 BCE. That degree of fraudulent inaccuracy lost me in the first few seconds.
What a joke of a video.
Where are the Arabs
Running away from Gaza
What about Indian empires which are one of the oldest and majestic ones?
your greatest "empire" was only as big as modern india. Then you got colonized by a tiny European island nation, now you speak their language. What a mighty indian ""empire"""hahahaha
Making a list of powerful empires and ignoring India.😂
calm down
Maratha, Mourya ,Gupta,Mughal
THE FIRST 30 seconds have 3 mistakes
1. Wrong placement of egypt
2. Most powerfull countries are usa and russia
3. Egypt wasnt in syria at all but u still say it
Put our country in nomber 2 but country first has a islamic is a number 1
All Europe was trying to find India all over the world for wealth but India never had a powerful army, how can it be ?
Europeans found and colonized india, your army was only "powerful" over 1000 years ago, and even then you couldnt conquer anything lol
India could have easily defeated british but we always had internal conflicts.
@@ankithyadav9633 "could have, would have" classic copium lol
@@sss1029 What are you guys talking about? Football? Comic book movies?
because this video has ignored them. The Mauryas, Nandas, Satvahanas, Kushans, Guptas, Pratiharas, Rashtrakutas, Palas, Cholas, Mughals were far wealthier and more powerful than most of the empires shown here. Lots of Chinese empire have also been forgotten here
