- The Saboteur was Pandemic Studio's final game, and man did they go out with a bang. The setting and the tone are amazing, the characters play well. In terms of gta clones this game really tops the ranks. It's a shame it never took off back in 2009. Thankfully its on Steam now so more people can play it. All i have left to say is, this game was a piece o piss man(thats a good thing...I think?)

This game was like if GTA, Mafia, and Assassin's Creed met. It's no coincidence that I would love this game too since I love those three. Climbing from building to building was mesmerizing for a 7 year old me, yet the Stealth mechanics was so damn broken. This world genuinely needs a Saboteur 2.
I was like 9 when it came out, it's a shame I missed it back then. It had some great concepts in it I really liked the colors changing based on liberation I thought that was super cool. I did a little research after I posted because the game left its mark on, and apparently it's all based on a real dude/real story.

As frustrated as I was with the controls of this game playing on the XB360, I thoroughly enjoyed my time playing this game. Truly underrated game.
The controls were pretty iffy on pc too, I did get uses to it pretty quick though. I'm genuinely surprised this game wasn't better received than it was. Crazy how a game bombs when it first comes out then gets look back on so fondly
@@stebio I think the main reason is that it released just one month after Assassin's Creed II. The Saboteur simply got overshadowed by AC2 in almost every way, gameplay, graphics, story etc. People just didn't give The Saboteur a chance sadly.
AC2 is one hell of a game to go against. That thing is still a masterpiece to this day
