The Align option is just a new(ish) feature in AutoCAD that is conceptually the same as what I've shown, as is the Reference option using the Scale command. It doesn't matter which tool you use as long as you understand the concept of scaling and making something real-world scale

Why didn't you use "align" command to scale it?
Align would have been a lot faster and easier.
